Cebu has a population of 3.5 million and is the oldest city and the first capital of the Philippines.

The name Cebu originated from the term Sibu which was the old term for trade. At the heart of the Philippine archipelago, for the last 500 years, the city of Cebu, traditionally known for furniture, arts and crafts, and fashion design, it is generally considered to be the country's design capital and nicknamed The Creative Capital of The Philippines.

This upcoming weekend is Sinulog and this is the biggest and most popular festival in the Philippines, and attracts millions of visitors from the Philippines and abroad each and every year. Ali nata mga beshhhh, ibang level ang panata, sayawan at party dito! Prititit! Viva Pit Senyor!

Well this was a first. In Cebu, Philipines there’s a hot spring like none other I’ve been to before. It’s called Esoy Hot Spring and it’s made up of various thermal pools perched on the side of a cliff. It gets better: the hot volcano water drops into a river, making for the most unique experience. But first, you have to cross a rope bridge (slightly terrifying) and then jump of a cliff. I was just looking for things to do in Cebu when I came across this incredible river trekking adventure.
