Industry Nine's V2 Alloy Rims
Industry Nine has updated its Trail S and Enduro S wheelsets using a redesigned alloy “V2” rim. The Trail S and Enduro S V2 rims continue to use Hollow Bead Wall Technology, but the story is the broader rim edge and wider rim well.
The edge is more blunt than before for increased pinch flat protection, while the wider rim well makes seating tubeless tires easier. It also holds the tire tighter to avoid burping when cornering aggressively. Overall, the V2 S rim series is claimed to be stronger than before.
The Trail S rims are available in 29” diameters and a 28-spoke count only, while the Enduro S come in 27.5 or 29” diameters with 32 holes. Not surprisingly, the Enduro S rim is heavier and wider than the Trail S. Both rims are available in wheelsets or separately.
Trail S V2 rim Details
• Rim diameter: 29” only
• Internal rim dimensions: 28.5mm width, 21mm depth
• Optimized for modern 2.2”–2.5” tires
• Spoke count: 28-hole
• Spoke type: Sapim Race J-bend
• Hydra2 or 1/1 hubset avail.
• Hub type: 6-bolt or Centerlock rotor mount
• Spacing: multiple hub spacing options
• Freehub: HG, MS12, XD, and singlespeed options
• Weight: 510g (wheelsets starting at 1870g)
• Price: $745-945 USD

Raaw Jibb LT V2.2
The Jibb now comes as LT as standard. With 141 mm of rear wheel travel paired with a 160 mm fork, this setup has proven to suit the Jibb best. For riders over 100 kg, we continue to offer the Rocker 55, which lowers the leverage ratio for improved setup options for heavier riders. This reduces rear wheel travel to 130 mm and is also best combined with a 160 mm fork.
The Jibb LT also receives an update to the dropouts. While the Jibb previously required a choice between UDH compatibility or adjustable chainstay length, the Jibb LT V2.2 now features redesigned dropouts that offer both.
Raaw Jibb LT V2.2 Details
• Material: AL 6066 T6
• Reach: 415mm - 515mm
• HTA: 64°
• Travel: F:160mm, R:141mm
• 29"/27.5"(S) wheels
• 165 / 170 Recommended Crank Length

Spotted: Fox 40 Prototype
Spotted: on the New Fox 40 Fork
We’re barely halfway through Crankworx, but the “secrets” are already having quite the week. This installment comes in the form of a new downhill fork from Fox, mounted to the front of Jackson Goldstone’s Santa Cruz V10. Visually, the fork isn’t drastically different from the current (it’s not upside down), but the design language follows suit with Fox’s other recent releases. Sporting the RAD insignia, it’s safe to assume that this is a prototype product that isn’t likely to see release in the near future. Head to the homepage for the full article

Crankbrothers Synthesis Alloy 2.0 Wheels
Introducing the next evolution in alloy wheels, the Synthesis Alloy 2.0: our signature front- and rear- specific tuned wheels, now built with upgraded materials, finishes and geometry. The result? A stronger wheel that you can rely on, lap after lap. Backed by a lifetime warranty, ride harder and trust every turn.
Proven On The Toughest Tracks
Our Synthesis wheels first hit the World Cup DH scene back in 2018 under the bikes of UNNO Factory Racing and have since seen the top step of the podium with the likes of Camille Balanche and Benoit Coulanges. They might have even won an Elite Men's World Cup Overall title (incognito).
Fast forward to 2025, and we've kicked off new racing partnerships with Commencal Muc-Off and Intense Factory Racing, as well as continued collaboration with YT Mob and Norco Race Division - all of whom are able to select between our Synthesis Carbon and Synthesis Alloy 2.0 from week to week, depending on track, weather condition, and rider preferences.

Specialized - Brembo Brakes on Gravity Team Bikes for 2025
Specialized has announced a new partnership with Brembo, the high-performance braking company best known for its dominance in Formula 1, MotoGP, and Superbike racing. We speculated this might be the case after the unmarked brakes were spotted on Loic Bruni's bike in May. The two brands have teamed up to develop a prototype brake system specifically for the demands of World Cup downhill racing, and Specialized Gravity riders will use the new setup throughout the 2025 season.

New 2026 Shimano Deore XT Di2 M8200 and Deore Di2 M6200 Series
The new lines include derailleurs and shifters for Deore, while the XT is a complete family, covering the drivetrain, brake, and wheel departments. All that's missing are new chains and rotors. Those carry over from the previous XT M8100 groupset.
The architecture and aesthetic of both the Deore and XT Di2 groupsets match that of the XTR M9200 with a clutchless derailleur and dual-lever shifter. The main difference separating the XT and Deore groupsets, as expected, is performance, price, and weight.
XT Di2 Details
• 11 or 12-speed options
• 10-51 or 9-45 tooth 12-speed cassettes
• Wirelessly actuated
• Mounts to standard derailleur hanger
• Compatible with existing Shimano 11 and 12-speed components
• Weight: 1,854g (SGS derailleur w/battery, shifter, 175mm cranks w/ 32T chainring, chain, cassette)
• Price: $1,280 USD (derailleur, battery, shifter, cranks, chainring, chain, cassette)
• bike.shimano.com
Deore M6200 Di2 Upgrade Kit
Forming a trio of Digital Integrated Intelligence (that’s what Di2 stands for, if you were ever wondering), is the Deore M6200 derailleur and shifter. It’s not a full groupset and is therefore compatible with the rest of the existing Deore, or any other 12-speed (or 11-speed) component from Shimano for that matter
If you’re worried, then you shouldn’t be - the mechanical groupset isn’t going anywhere. The Deore Di2 is essentially a more affordable electronic upgrade kit compared to the XT and XTR Di2 versions.
Deore Di2 Details
• 11 or 12-speed options
• 10-51-tooth cassette
• Wirelessly actuated
• Mounts to standard derailleur hanger
• Compatible with existing Shimano components
• Weight: Not available at this time
• Upgrade kit: $675 USD (derailleur, shifter, battery, quick link)
• Complete groupset: $945 USD

New 2026 Shimano XTR Di2 M9200 Series
The all-new XTR is here! Including a wireless Di2 drivetrain, built around a more robust derailleur, intuitive shifter design, stronger crankset and more consistent braking, XTR M9200 raises the bar for smart engineering, delivering crisp, precise shifts and relentless reliability.
Shimano sticks to the tried and true method when it comes to releasing their flagship groupsets, with big, sprawling lineups all falling under the same name. That's certainly the case with this year's update to the premier XTR name, with multiple drivetrain, brake, wheel, and even pedal options all grouped into one heap.
XTR Di2 Details
• 12-speed, 10-51 or 9-45 tooth cassette
• Wirelessly actuated
• Mounts to standard derailleur hanger
• Compatible with other Shimano 12-speed components
• Groupset weight: 1735g
• Price: $2030 USD (cassette, derailleur, cranks, shifter, chain, battery, charger)
• bike.shimano.com
Pros
+ Very fast shifting
+ Customizable and tactile shifter
+ 9-45t option is excellent for the right rider
+ Slimmer front profile avoids impacts & has sacrificial derailleur hanger
Cons
- Shifting under power not as smooth as competition
- Pronounced chain slap
- Still has a derailleur hanger

2025 Commencal Meta HT V3
Riding a hardtail is a true state of mind; it's about putting the joy of riding at the center of the game, without artifice. Don't be fooled by appearances, the META HT is capable of handling all trails: from small natural singles to the most challenging enduro specials. In its ultimate V3 version, the META HT returns with a completely redesigned aluminum frame to improve comfort, rethought geometry to inspire confidence, and new frame protections to ride with peace of mind.
• SIMPLICITY IS KEY. Riding a hardtail is a state of mind. It’s all about putting the joy of riding at the centre of the experience, without any gimmicks. This third version of the META HT has been freshened up thanks to:
- A completely redesigned aluminium frame to improve comfort.
- New geometry designed to inspire confidence.
- New frame protection for carefree riding on all types of trails.
- Curved and rounded seat stays connect directly to the top tube without a bridge, offering an unprecedented level of comfort for a hardtail
- The new 7556/7S56 standard head tube allows the use of angle-set or offset headsets.
- The brake calliper is protected between the seat stay and the chain stay.
- Now UDH compatible for use with the latest SRAM T-Type drivetrain.
- The bottom bracket retains the BSA standard for easier maintenance
• A COMPLETELY REVISED FRAME. The design brief for the META HT V3 was clear:
- Keep the DNA that makes the META HT the benchmark in its category.
- Optimise crucial elements such as comfort and pedalling position.
- The 29" wheels paired with wide tyres (up to 67mm wide) add even more comfort and tolerance to the drivetrain. The size S features a 27.5" rear wheel to maintain manoeuvrability and tyre clearance, especially on steeper terrain.
• RIDE-SPECIFIC GEOMETRY. The behaviour of a hardtail is completely different to a full-suspension bike, which is why we designed its geometry specifically.
• REACH. The reach has been slightly extended to provide greater stability while maintaining agility during weight transfer on slopes
• HEAD ANGLE. The 64.5mm head angle allows for confident riding on any trail, while facilitating front-end grip on flatter trails.
• SEAT ANGLE . A steeper seat tube angle boosts pedalling efficiency uphill. On L/XL sizes, the seat tube has been shortened to allow for more freedom of movement on the bike
• CHAIN STAYS. The chain stays are short (430mm) to facilitate rear wheel placement and maintain the playful character of a hardtail.
The reliability of our products has always been a priority. In addition to our own tests, we decided to put the META HT V3 to the test at EFBE. An independent laboratory that offers tests above the ISO 4210 standard.
AN IMPECCABLE FINISH
The META HT V3 benefits from numerous aesthetic and, more importantly, functional improvements:
• The specific chain stay protector uses dual-density material to reduce noise and provide excellent frame protection
• A chain-suck guard is factory-fitted to protect the chain stay
• A chain-suck guard is factory-fitted to protect the chain stay.
• The frame also now features two mounts for attaching bottles or tools, including a pre-installed FIDLOCK mount.
The META HT V3 frame is therefore EFBE 5 certified.
Specific to gravity and e-bike practices, it is the highest possible classification for a mountain bike in terms of reliability and resistance.
