Seeing and experiencing how yoga can help change a person's life, I took my first Yoga Teacher training in 2012 at Bliss Yoga Manila. In 2013 through my mentors I was introduced to Yin Yoga and Vipassana Meditation - both practices helped deepen my personal practice and teach

Thank you so much everyone for joining, for allowing me to lead your practice, and for sharing your energy with everyone.

I said at the start of the class that it was gonna be easy, but... 🀣 I got messages from people telling me they were sore the next day. Ooops! Haha.

But seriously, I'm just happy to be back.

It's been more than 2 years since I was in a yoga class, and this experience was quite emotional for me. I honestly was thinking twice of going because I am, very evidently, has turned into a walrus. But I am so happy I mustered all my willpower and overcame this social anxiety. There's something about being in the same room with people breathing and moving and being guided into a yoga sequence. My joints were making cracking noises, my arms were shaking, I was huffing and puffing, but you know what, I felt really REALLY good in a way that I haven't felt good in a long time.

I am so grateful to for leading us class, .t.wong for organizing .space.tobreathe, and my fellow teachers, friends, and studenta for sharing their time, energy, and vibes.

I will be teaching IRL for the first time IN YEARS this coming March 11 at I hope to see you then! πŸ™πŸΌ 😘

This week's classes have been all about keeping things simple: feeling and listening to the body rather than pushing, breathing into the poses rather than "perfecting" the pose, and being mindful of movement rather than looking great and graceful in the flow.

Sometimes, we have to feel it: what we do is enough, it's ok if we're not on our πŸ’―, we're still worthy even if we're not perfect.

May we find the same sense of fulfillment and accomplishment in the simple things and the imperfections not just in our practice but also in our lives.

Keeping it chunky but funky 🀣

Life update: we had a bit of renovation around the house last week, so it's only this week that the dust is starting to clear, both literal dust and the metaphorical one covering my mind 🀣
