HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES DAY!!

On October 6, 1972, ​President Richard Nixon signed a proclamation declaring October 6 as National Coaches Day. It states: "Coaches are highly qualified teachers—in highly specialized fields. But more than that, they are friends and counselors who help instill in their player's important attitudes that will serve them all their lives."

Isa ang DepEd School Sports Division (SSD) sa lubhang naapektuhan ng pandemya na nararanasan natin, at isa sa kanilang proyekto ay ang Palarong Pambansa na dapat ay gaganapin sana ngayong taon. Ang solusyon ng SSD at Palarong Pambansa National Secretariat dito ay ang pagbuo ng Palarong Pambansa Continuity Plan (PPCP) na ang layunin ay magbigay ng mga rekomendasyon at alternatibong paraan para ang 27 sports na nakapaloob dito ay maipagpatuloy habang sinisigurado ang kaligtasan ng mga manlalaro.
