To God be the glory.
I’m a strength and conditioning specialist who works with clients and athletes for muscle, strength and sports performance. I acquired my Bachelors degree in Sports Science from Bulacan State University where I was also a former member of university Track and Field Team, Basketball Team, Swimming Team and Taekwondo Team.
While growing up trying to be a multi-sport athlete, I was exposed to a variety of sports, ideas, and coaching styles. This helped me prepare for just about any competitive atmosphere and coaching style. I had a wealth of experience that allowed me to transition. When I began working at Gold’s Gym Philippines, I had access to a lot of different coaches with different principles. I didn’t always agree with them, but I learned. And when you learn different things, you can store them away for later when you need them. That’s how you build your toolbox.

Taekwondo Varsity
As a multisport varsity player, I was privileged to graduate with full scholarship grants during the course of my college years. During my freshman and sophomore year, I was a double event varsity player to which I competed in basketball and Taekwondo (1st degree Black Belt).
I enjoyed training but it was tough because I have to train 3x a day. Basketball team practice at 5:00am, weight training after lunch and Taekwondo practice after class at 5:00pm. I abused my body to the point that I injured my knee. As a young athlete I was full of energy but the lack of knowledge in training got me hurt. And it was a painful lesson to learn.
Swimming Varsity
The doctor advised me to take 9 months off to recover my knee. I had to stop high impact lower body activities. With nothing to put my energy into, I thought to give it a shot to try-out for the swimming team because it’s less stressful to the joints.
Spent the last semester of my sophomore year training with the team. On my junior year I made it in the varsity team. That year, we won as the overall champion in National SCUAA Olympics (State Colleges and Universities Association). Later that year, I won a silver medal from an international long distance finswimming competition in the 1500m dual-fins category.
Track and Field Varsity
I also ran track at the national level in university as a sprinter. After successfully rehabbing my knee, I joined the university track team in my pursuit to learn more about physical training which I learned a lot from my coaches.
There are so many hours of training and coaching and perfecting in order to cross that line first or jump a goal height or throw a winning distance. Since joining the track and field community, it has been the most challenging, tiring and uplifting commitment I have ever agreed to.
American Football Quarterback/Head Coach
My love and passion for sports brought me to the American Football community.
PTFL Manila and Bulacan Knights
Back then, the sport was very new in the Philippines. I have to learn everything from scratch. I became team captain during my 2nd year and then became the head coach by the 3rd year. I brought the sport to Bulacan on which I founded the team “Bulacan Knights” and I never looked back.
Whenever I get the chance, I always travel. There’s so much we can learn from traveling. One of the major travels I did was my trip around North Luzon on a bicycle for 16 days. I made a documentary of the whole trip. You can watch it on my YouTube channel.
Growing up from a health conscious family, my curiosity in the science of human body developed at a very young age.
Up to now, It's been 11 years since I worked in the fitness Industry from different international organizations on which I have acquired essential skills to create effective training systems that provide consistent results without sacrificing safety. To further broaden my knowledge and skills as a coach, I make myself actively engaged in competitions, seminars and certifications in both national and international level.
Truth is, I’m just a guy who enjoys the science of strength and conditioning training, and who enjoys actually doing it too. I’m a generalist, meaning I haven’t completely adapted to one particular style of weight training – I enjoy practicing a variety of them in different, well-thought-out phases during the year for the experience, added knowledge and fresh challenge.
My training systems are generally quite simple, and equally as effective, which is why I continue to use them. Preliminary assessments of strengths, weaknesses and general exercise technique are followed by structured and focused workouts that make strides towards your goals.
I help clients perform better, get stronger, and ultimately improve their physiques as a result of proper training.
I’m currently based in Malolos, Bulacan but I work with remote clients online.
