ASAS SPORTS FEST 2026 – BULACAN CLUSTER
September 16, 2026 | La Consolacion University Philippines
“One Spirit, One Community, United in Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas.”
A day filled with faith, friendship, sportsmanship, and unity! The ASAS Sports Fest 2026 – Bulacan Cluster brought together the Augustinian community of La Consolacion School of Balagtas (LCSB), La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP), and Assumpta Academy, Bulacan, Inc. (AA) for a meaningful celebration of sports and community.
The celebration began with the assembly at the Jubilee Open Stage, followed by the parade, opening prayer, and National Anthem. We were also blessed with inspiring words from Sr. Veronica H. Jamili, OSA, during the Opening Remarks.
The opening program was made more vibrant through the wonderful performances of our students, including the Festival Dance of Assumpta Academy, Modern Dance of LCSB, and song numbers presented by the participating schools.
A special highlight was the Lighting of the Torch by the LCUP Student-Athletes, symbolizing the passion, determination, and unity of every athlete. This was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship, reminding us that beyond winning and competition, sports teach us respect, discipline, humility, teamwork, and camaraderie.
Congratulations to all the student-athletes, players, and participants who competed in Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Badminton, and Table Tennis! Your dedication, courage, discipline, and sportsmanship made the ASAS Sports Fest truly meaningful.
Whether you won a medal, represented your school with pride, or simply gave your best in every match - you are all winners in the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. Every game was an opportunity to learn, build friendships, respect one another, and celebrate the talents God has given us.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to the LCUP Augustinian Sisters for their continued guidance, support, and commitment to the formation of our students through sports and community activities.
Our sincere gratitude also goes to VPAA Dr. Jay Mark Santos, Prof. Ma. Jesusa C. Caparas, Director of Student Affairs and Services (SAS), and Dr. Rosalyn Galvez for their invaluable support, encouragement, and guidance in making this celebration possible.
We likewise extend our deepest appreciation to BED Principal Sr. Evangeline B. Algaba, OSA, and to all the BED Assistant Principals and administrators of LCUP, for their cooperation, guidance, and support throughout the event.
Special thanks as well to the administrators, teachers, coaches, and school personnel of La Consolacion School of Balagtas (LCSB) and Assumpta Academy, Bulacan, Inc. (AA) for joining us and helping make this gathering a meaningful celebration of the Augustinian spirit.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the teachers, coaches, school administrators, officials, volunteers, and parents who continuously supported our young athletes. Most especially, thank you to all the players and participants from LCSB and Assumpta Academy for sharing your time, energy, and enthusiasm with us.
The day ended with the Closing Remarks of Sr. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, PhD., University President, followed by the Closing Prayer led by the students of Assumpta Academy.
A heartfelt thank you, Sister Niceta, for your inspiring message and continued support for our student-athletes and the ASAS Sports Fest. Your presence and words reminded us that beyond the competition, sports are about building character, strengthening relationships, and celebrating our shared Augustinian values.
May the memories of this Sports Fest remind us that the greatest victory is not always found on the scoreboard, but in the friendships formed, lessons learned, respect shown, and unity shared.
One Spirit. One Community. One Augustinian Family.
United in Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas.
Congratulations and thank you, everyone, for making ASAS Sports Fest 2026 – Bulacan Cluster a celebration to remember!
