- Manage lights, sounds, slides, LED wall, and music at our seminars.
- Assist with creating engaging visual content using Canva.
- Operate and manage OBS for seamless streaming and presentations.

100 Days of New Bold U

NBU2024 is done and over, and what an incredible journey it has been. This wasn’t just an event; it was my personal 100-days challenge to step into leadership and prove that I can co-create something bigger than myself.

Reflecting on this journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. From the initial invitation of Ralph Layco of an idea to the culmination of NBU2024, every step was filled with challenges, drama (Alam mo yan besh), growth, and countless moments of inspiration. There were times when the weight of my responsibilities felt too heavy, and the struggle to balance it all seemed impossible. But everyone's support and belief in me through every obstacle kept me going.

To the 200+ BOLD ONES who attended our events, whether on Disruptors After Dark, on Zoom or Facebook, and finally NBU2024, thank you for showing up, engaging, and believing in the vision of New Bold U. Your presence and enthusiasm made all the difference.

To the incredible team behind NBU2024 – especially our beloved volunteer staffing team, hosts, facilitators, technical directors, and everyone who played a part in making this event a success – I am deeply grateful. Your dedication, hard work, and passion is the foundation of this journey. I recognized recently that I'm always at the right place at the right time, especially when I visit the House of Transformation - Ortigas and I AM + Coaching.

Today I decided to do lights and sounds here today, knowing that some of the coaches are out of the country to support Coach Max Salazar and have an opportunity to sit in on some of the modules today.

And aha - the topic this morning?

Authenticity.

Ang quality and value na sobrang di ko talaga magets kasi lagi ko nakuquestion if authentic ba ako, or nagpapaka-acting authentic lang kasi yun lagi sinasabi sakin na need ko i-work on.

Anlabo diba?

Umabot na sa point di ko na alam if authentic ba ako or baka vulnerable lang, "nagpapaka-totoo lang eh", pero ayun naging people pleaser, baka masyadong optimist o delulu, or maybe on the other side of things, pa-victim naman.

Pero Nani's sharing got me in tears kanina, kahit naman normal sharing lang siya.

He shared that he can be his most authentic self around his best friends.

There's no need to look magaling, okay lang ma-judge, okay lang magk**ali when you're your most authentic self.

Magaan lang. Magaan. Magaan maging ikaw.

Kaya siguro minsan pag-uwi ng bahay, bagsak lang agad sa k**a. Pagod eh. Bigat maging ibang tao para sa ibang tao eh.

So if there's anything I'm taking home from the lessons from this morning - maybe it's this:

At any given moment, asking myself what would help me feel the best in this situation, with whatever I'm feeling, that would also benefit others?

Even if we've been taught to always be in giving, supporting and loving mode whenever facing others, I should also remember to consider me too.

What would be giving, supporting and loving me look like as I give, support and loves too?

Life doesn't have to be complicated.

We have our heart and our emotions as a powerful guiding system, sometimes our ego brains just get in the way:
- What would make me look good?
- What would make me right?

Dapat magaan lang mabuhay. Di na kailangan mag-isip masyado.
