BPBL SEASON 15
ELIMINATION RULES & DIVISION GUIDELINES
ELIMINATION FORMAT
• Single Round-Robin format for all divisions.
• The Top 4 teams from each division will advance to the FIBA-style playoffs.
• Regular-season standings will determine playoff seeding. (1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3)
MANDATORY SUBSTITUTION RULE
• Mandatory substitution applies until the end of the 2nd Quarter.
• The 5 players on the court must be replaced during the 5-minute mark of both the 1st and 2nd Quarters.
• Teams are not required to use all players on their roster, provided that the 5 players on the court are replaced during the 5-minute mark.
• If one team has fewer than 10 available players, the opposing team may also choose to deploy a number of players equivalent to the number of players available on the team with fewer than 10 players.
CORPORATE HYBRID DIVISION
• One (1) Active Professional OR one (1) Active College Varsity is allowed per team.
• One (1) Ex-Professional player aged 40 years old or above is allowed in addition to the one (1) Active Professional/Active Varsity slot.
• All other players must comply with the division's eligibility requirements (No Pro/ Ex Pro/Current Varsity).
CORPORATE ORIGINAL DIVISION
• No Active Professional players are allowed.
• No Ex-Professional players are allowed.
• No Active College Varsity players are allowed.
• No Ex-College Varsity players are allowed.
LICENSED DIVISION I & II
• Teams in the Licensed Divisions were power-ranked based on:
– Team lineup
– Previous season performance
– Player and team star power
– Overall competitive strength
• The power rankings were used to determine the placement of teams between Licensed Division I and Licensed Division II. Licensed Division 1 represents the team A of their respective professions.
35 & UP DIVISION
• The 35 & Up Division is currently ON HOLD.
• Several teams who submitted entries included multiple Ex-Professional and Ex-College Varsity players.
• The division will be reassessed for a future season to ensure an appropriate competitive balance.
OFFICE BOYS DIVISION
• The Office Boys Division will return in Season 16.
• As of September 25, 2026, seven (7) teams are already on the waitlist.
• Further announcements regarding registration and eligibility will be released for Season 16.
