Finding My Voice and Embracing My Fear


I remember when I was in college, I failed my communication skills subject because I couldn't speak in front of others. I was nervous and intimidated by people. 🥹


Even now, there are moments when I still feel that way, but it has lessened over time. I have learned a few important lessons:


1. The more I practice public speaking, the easier and more normal it becomes. By facing my fear and repeatedly putting myself in speaking situations, I gradually become more comfortable and confident.

2. Continuous personal growth is key. Attend seminars, read books, listen to audiobooks, and seek out resources that can help me develop my communication skills. Learning from experts and gaining knowledge in the field of public speaking will provide me with valuable insights and techniques to improve.

3. Believe in myself. Building self-belief is essential in overcoming the fear of public speaking. Remind myself of my strengths and accomplishments, and trust that my have valuable insights and ideas to share. Embrace your unique voice and know that my perspective is valuable.

And specially I learned that, public speaking is a skill that can be learned and improved with practice, education, and self-belief. Keep pushing myself to grow, and embrace the opportunities to share my voice to the world.
