Midweek grind with the team last March 25. 💥

Started strong with fundamentals under Coach Eboi—sharpening the basics, building clean technique, and locking in the details. Then leveled up in the intermediate class led by Coach Lukie—more intensity, more rounds, more growth.

Every session is a chance to improve, one rep, one roll, one lesson at a time. Keep showing up, keep learning, keep pushing 💪✨

Come join us every Wednesday🥋🔥

Southies unite! ⬇️🤝

Another solid day on the mats at Deftac Alabang’s Monthly Open Mats! Huge shoutout to our hosts for bringing our fam from Deftac Alabang, Deftac-DLSU (DLSU + CSB), Deftac Laguna, Deftac Better Living, and Deftac BF Homes.

Nothing beats sharing techniques, learning from one another, and getting those fun, competitive rolls in. More than anything, it’s the camaraderie that keeps us coming back. 🥋🤙

Thank you again, Deftac Alabang, for the warm welcome and great vibes. Until the next one! 🫂

Last Thursday, we hit the mats at Deftac HQ for a full session of learning and solid rounds. 🥋🔥

We joined the evening All-Levels and Grappling sessions where the focus was on takedowns and pressure passing sequences. Great reps, great intensity, and even better learning alongside the team.

Huge thank you to Deftac HQ for having us and always providing a space for us to grow. Looking forward to more shared sessions like this. 🥋💚🏹🤝

Last Wednesday, behind closed doors, a rare kind of learning unfolded. 🥋🔥

An exclusive seminar with Prof. Chris “Bones” Burns gathered some of Deftac Philippines’ finest black belts for a deep dive into precision, pressure, and the true essence of jiu-jitsu. They were also honored by the presence of Prof. Joe Mendoza, elevating the experience even further.

Adding to the moment, several of our DLSU black belt alumni were in attendance, alongside our Deftac-DLSU chapter head (Prof. Joaqs), bringing together generations of the team under one roof.

Guided by instructors under the legendary Rickson Gracie, every detail mattered. Every grip, every movement, every exchange carried decades of mastery.

Huge thanks to Prof. Chris, Prof. Joe, Prof. Jerome, Prof. Garrick, and Deftac Makati for making this unforgettable session possible.

BLUE BELT CLOSED OUT‼️💙🌟

Big congratulations to our president, Eboi Ilano — leading by example and finishing strong 🥋

This is a reminder that showing up is better than staying comfortable. Progress favors those who step on the mats, even on the hard days. 💯

Leaders train, leaders compete, leaders grow.

Strong grips, stronger women. 💁🏻‍♀️🥋💚✨

In celebration of National Women’s Month, DLSU BJJ GO proudly held “For Women, By Women”: A Special Self-Defense Seminar, last March 11, 2026 at the Enrique Razon Sports Complex. The session brought together DLSU SHS and college students, faculty, support staff, and members of the DLSU BJJ GO community for an empowering afternoon focused on practical self-defense and personal safety.

Led by guest instructors Prof. Alexandria Lee and Prof. Ayjell Acejas-de Castro, black belts from Deftac-Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Philippines, participants learned techniques and principles that highlight how self-defense is not only a skill to be learned, but also a powerful way to empower women with confidence, awareness, and control.

This marks the second time the organization has offered this special program, made possible through collaboration with the DLSU Office of Sports Development and Deftac-Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Philippines, continuing a shared commitment to education, empowerment, and safety within the community.

Thank you to our guest instructors, participants, and everyone who helped make this meaningful session possible. 🙆🏻‍♀️💜💪
