You may know Red Ollero as the stand-up comedian and podcast host.

Some of us know him in the Philippine wrestling scene, once as Rederick Mahaba.
Now going by his real name, Red has been steering the ship for FPW - Filipino Pro Wrestling.
His antagonist character has been making waves, both in the local wrestling scene and with ties to international wrestling stars.

During FPW's most recent event, he pitted one of FPW's top stars, Mike Madrigal, against one of the most dangerous wrestlers on the planet.

Of Filipino descent, Cobb has been dominating the Japanese wrestling scene.
He is a former New Japan Pro Wrestling tag team champion, NEVER Openweight Champion, and is currently the NJPW World Television champion.

He is no slouch of a competitor.
To put it simply, a SUPLEX MACHINE.

For Ollero to tap him, and bring some more eyes on the Filipino wrestling product, is a feather in Red's cap.

Red has been a fixture in the wrestling scene for a long time now, and his ability to engage a crowd in comedy has spilled over to the squared circle.

His bad guy schtick in pro-wrestling is only scratching the surface of what he could do.

Tab Baldwin has been at the helm of the Ateneo Blue Eagles for the past eight years. He's seen good players come and go at the UAAP and after yesterday's encounter against the De La Salle Green Archers led by reigning MVP Kevin Quiambao, Coach Tab acknowledged the elite upside that KQ can bring to the table.

“Kevin’s just a really good player. He’s elite in terms of UAAP standards from what I’ve seen over my eight years. He should be mentioned in the same breath as Carl Tamayo, Thirdy Ravena, and Justine Baltazar. That’s where he’s at, especially when you’re talking about Filipino players.”

Kevin Quiambao has been playing like a man among the boys in the UAAP. Imagine what he can bring to the table in the professional ranks one day be it local or international.

When everyone thought DLSU will easily bow down to the pros, the Archers proved them wrong. They fought tooth and nail with a 1-point loss against Rain or Shine then handily beat the Converge FiberXers and Phoenix Super LPG Fuelmasters.

The noise was felt all over the local basketball community, and former PBA Commissioner Noli Eala acknowledged the Green Archers' skill, teamwork, and talent being at par with the professional level. Eala even suggested that they can replace a cellar-dwelling PBA team and still contend for a championship.
