These two are known throughout the community as the mascots — often joked about, underestimated, and rarely taken seriously when it comes to competitive play.

But this time?

THE MASCOTS CAME TO PLAY. 💀

Snappy Kap brought the unexpected Aurora deck
diabol69 unleashed the chaotic Double Gambit deck

And somehow… IT WORKED.

Match after match, the underrated duo kept knocking down expectations and sending opponents home. What started as a team nobody expected much from turned into a deep tournament run all the way to the GRAND FINALS.

Known far and wide as Ultron enjoyers, these two have made a name for themselves by maining Ultron in tournament after tournament. But this time… they decided to play a different game. 👀

No Ultron. No anticipation. No mercy.

To keep their opponents guessing, the duo switched things up:
black_plague69 brought out the Hela deck
Ryujin went with the classic Destroy deck

And what followed was an absolute championship run.

Match after match, they carved their way through the competition, overcoming every matchup standing between them and the title. They adapted, outplayed, and proved that Ultron may be their specialty—but their skill goes far beyond one deck.

⚖️ MARVEL SNAP OTA: AUGUST 27, 2026

The latest OTA is a relatively small one, but there are some changes worth paying attention to, especially if you're playing Thanos, Move, or Destroy.

🔻 NERF

Sam Wilson, Captain America
2/3 → 2/2

Cap's Shield stays the same, but Sam loses 1 Power. He's been a strong 2-Cost option across several decks, particularly Batroc and Aurora/Thanos, so this is meant to bring him closer to the rest of the 2-Cost pool.

🔺 BUFFS

Mister Fantastic First Steps
3/4 → 3/5

A straightforward +1 Power buff. His ability remains the same, giving a card in your hand either -1 Cost or +2 Power at the end of the turn.

Strong Guy
3/3 → 3/4

Another +1 Power buff. This could become more interesting with the upcoming Inversion Magneto.

Death Fractured Frontier
5/8 → 5/9

This is the one I'm watching. 👀

Death FF keeps her resurrection ability, but now comes with 9 Power. Second Dinner says her win rate has been low and her huge resurrection swings haven't happened often enough, so she gets another point.

Considering we've been talking about Death FF counters and Destroy decks, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

🔄 BIGGER ADJUSTMENTS

Spider-Sense
5-Cost → 6-Cost
+2 Power → +3 Power

This looks weird at first, but it's intended as a buff to Moveable decks. Once reduced by enough Moveable cards, Spider-Sense can effectively become a 2/3-Cost 9-Power play.

Klaw
5/4 → 4/2
His right location bonus changes from +7 → +6 Power.

So you lose 2 total Power, but gain an entire Energy of flexibility. This could open up some interesting Ongoing and location-based decks.

🧪 BONUS: BRUCE BANNER CHANGE

There's also a Draft-related interaction change.

Bruce Banner will no longer carry over Power changes that "Set" his Power, such as Bast or Valkyrie effects. However, normal Power increases and decreases will still carry over.

In short, Bruce Banner + Quantum Realm is now a good interaction rather than a weird one.

Overall, it's a light OTA with a lot of buffs and experimentation, rather than a major meta shake-up. The biggest question for me is whether Death FF's extra Power is enough to finally make the resurrection deck a serious threat. 💀🔥
