PEBL version 2.0

To our beloved PEBL community and respected Kuya Governors,

For the past few weeks PEBL management has been under attack.We had an opportunity to process what went wrong and discuss with the committee how we can avoid things like this from ever happening again and be better moving forward.

We are responsible for the thriving PEBL community that supports us and so we felt compelled to be transparent and share exactly what happened.

As of this writing, we are still waiting for the settlement of obligations from more than half of the participating regions. As previously mentioned, the LIGA was established to enhance camaraderie and sports fellowship in the order. It was established out of the love for the sports and to detoxify from all the political issues embroiling our organization. Thus, when we initially started, PEBL committee banked on our mutual agreements with our mga Kuya. These are all respectable gentleman and brothers and so , yes admittedly we were not strict with them when they asked for payment extensions.
Contrary to posting , we have been in coordination with Mr. Magandi on several occasions to resolve issue in correct manner and in a proper venue. It seems however, that Mr. Mangandi has “been contacted” by several persons not happy with PEBL and was given a “green light” to continue.

We believe Mr. Mangandi is a reasonable man and have asked for a meeting from him .We deeply regret the inconvenience this has brought him. However, since he insists on social media postings we apologize that we need to take down these postings for time being that everything is under negotiation. Moving forward, we would like to thank all the regions that have paid in full and request the remaining regions to do the same. We have always believed in the values of our beloved fraternity. We have walked alongside mga Kuya that we have all admired and respected greatly. We have great faith that these brothers are still present in the organization unmarred and unfazed and untainted by any vested ambitions. Mga kuya Nothing but sincere gratitude for your continued and most valued support.

𝙋𝙀𝘽𝙇 𝘼𝘿𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙊𝙍𝙔

PEBL Management regrets to inform everyone that due to non-compliance of settlement of balances of most of the teams, Season 1 remaining games is indefinitely postponed. We are giving concerned regions time to honor its commitment and mutual agreement when they chose to join the league.

Our liga is anchored on the principle of Eagles strong brotherhood thru sports fellowship. PEBL has been understanding in the financial obligations because almost all Regional Teams promised to settle their balances and speedily comply soonest the need arises. Sadly, PEBL did not receive payments which are necessary in carrying out the remaining games up to finals. To know your region's balance you may message Commissioner John Paul Soria.

To lessen the loss of continues expense from venue, prod team, tech teams and others we deemed it proper to advise all contracted parties that Liga ng bawat Agila is on hold in abeyance until a final agreement is reached in funding it.

On a positive note, PEBL is now a legitimate entity under Securities and Exchange Commission and we are excited with upcoming wider collaboration with other socio-civic organizations in the country.

Looking forward to bounce back in court mga Kuya.

We regretfully inform our PEBL community that our week 12 game schedules (January 14,2023) will be reset to Jan 21, 2023 due to unsettled accounts of 15 participating regions.

The PEBL management will patiently extend the deadline of settlement on or before January 18, 2023. Hoping that said regions will honor their commitment and obligations to our League and bring the deserving Team thru the championships.
