Celebrating 19 Years of Padraska Skateboarding! On December 2003 Padraska Skateboarding was formed in the skate spot of Paraiso ng Batang Maynila Park in the area of Paco Manila. From a group of skateboarders who wants to have their own name, trademark and identity. Padraska is an acronym of Paraiso Drunkass Skaters. From the name of the skate spot Paraiso Park and the group of skateboarders who always drink liquor after they finished to skate on the said skate spot. On July 2004, Padraska Skateboarding made their first skateboarding competition and followed it on December of the same year titled "This is the Padraska Life” and on February 2006 they held again their third skateboarding competition titled “Board + Beer = Life". Their group skate in Paraiso Park as Padraska Skate Crew from 2003 to 2007 but unfortunately in 2008 the skate crew was no longer active and many of the members of the group were stopped to play skateboard. But this not cause Padraska Skateboarding to disappear. In year 2008 they became a skate team and organized another skateboarding competition titled “We’re back! Its Official" and formed five (5) riders from different skate crew to start as a member of the skate team and introduced them in skateboarding competition titled "From Skate Crew (2003) to Skate Team (2008)". Padraska Skateboarding still organized skateboarding competition since then to present, with a theme of "Dedicated Purely for Skateboarding". Indeed, it was able to organize almost sixty (60) skateboarding competitions since year 2004 to present in different places like in the City of Manila, Quezon City, Makati, Caloocan, Pasig, Marikina, Taguig, Rizal, Baguio, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Daet in Camarines Norte, Legazpi City in Albay, Sorsogon City, Gubat, Bulan, Irosin and Casiguran in Sorsogon Province, Puerto Prinsesa City in Palawan and Koronadal City in South Cotabato in Mindanao and also as one of the organizer of the annual “Go Skateboarding Day” that celebrated worldwide every June 21st of the year. Padraska Skateboarding is a long-standing, prominent grassroots Filipino skateboarding organization and team originally formed in December 2003 in Manila. The name PADRASKA is a portmanteau of Paraiso Drunkass Skaters. The crew originated at a popular public skate spot inside the Paraiso ng Batang Maynila Park in Paco, Manila, where the founding members would routinely hang out and drink alcohol together after their skate sessions.

History and Evolution 2003–2007 (The Skate Crew): Founded in December 2003 the group operated locally out of Paraiso Park. They threw their first local competition in July 2004, followed by iconic early events like "This is the Padraska Life" and "Board + Beer = Life".

2008–Present (The Skate Team): As some original crew members grew less active, Padraska officially restructured into a dedicated skate team. They launched this new chapter with the competition titled "We're Back! It's Official," recruiting riders from various local crews.

Impact on the Philippine Skate Scene: Padraska has transformed from a local neighborhood crew into an influential pillar of the Philippine skateboarding community.

Prolific Event Organizers: Has organized over 60 skateboarding competitions across the country. Their reach spans Metro Manila (Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasig, Marikina, Makati, Parañaque) and various provinces, including Bulacan, Pampanga, Laguna, Cavite, Baguio, Palawan, Bicol, and South Cotabato.

Go Skateboarding Day (2012-2024): They serve as a major official partner and mobilizer for the annual worldwide Go Skateboarding Day celebrations in the Philippines every June 21st.

Community Alignment: The group heavily collaborates with local brands and other regional crews, running merchandise giveaways, free-registration skate jams, and trick competitions to support underprivileged local skaters.

Team Mottos: Their long-running operational slogans are "Dedicated Purely for Skateboarding" and "Hanggat may Padraska, may Pag-asa."
