Prout stands for Progressive Utilisation Theory. A socio economic theory propounded by the spiritual leader Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar as an alternative to the matter centered philosophy of Communism and money centered philosophy of Capitalism. Being against the innate “Dharma” of a human being, He had predicted the downfall of Communism about 5 decades ago which is a reality now. He has also done a similar prediction on Capitalism saying it will burst like a bubble one day!
While PROUT covers various aspects of society, spirituality and morality, this video focuses on the economic aspect only. We shall discuss the other aspects in the upcoming videos.

As you know, the mind has a natural tendency to degrade itself; it flows more easily downwards than upwards. So, if some people, by virtue of their wealth, impose vulgar cinemas and dramas on others, this will beak the latter's spines and they will become paralysed. And those paralysed, spineless people will thenceforth never be able to stand unitedly against cultural or any other kind of exploitation. They will never be able to do so, because mentally they will be completely dead--their capacity to raise their heads in protest will have been crushed forever. How can they raise their heads again?
This exploitation in the cultural sphere is accomplished by the propagation of pseudo-culture. Every honest, virtuous, rational person must fight against this pseudo-culture, and inspire others to do the same. If this is not done, the future of humanity will be sealed. It is proper for human beings to struggle for political freedom, for social emancipation; but if their cultural backbone is broken, then all their struggles will end in nothing--like offering ghee into a fire that has died out.
If one's spine is shattered, it is impossible to hold one's head erect. Can those whose necks and backs are crushed under the weight of pseudo-culture, be expected to hold their heads high in any sphere of life? Hence it is the bounden duty of every rational person to save innocent people from pseudo-culture.

From PROUT in a Nutshell, Part 8

Moral leadership is imperative under a PROUT society. All the ideas and solutions espoused by PROUT will not be implemented without moral leaders to implement them. The famous Lord Acton quote always comes to mind, that "power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutley." A not-so-famous quote, but one coming from Frank Herbert, author of the "Dune" novels, says that "power attracts the corruptible." If both are correct, can we ever have incorruptible leaders? PROUT says that moral leadership is the key. But, again, as was already mentioned in a previous post, this is easier said than done. Society must adopt a system where positions of leadership will be given to those who would not "naturally" desire to become leaders and are just focused on being of real service to society. We need not discuss morality in detail at this point, but most of us have a notion of what is moral and what is immoral; we know right from wrong. We may all want to be moral and upright. Php 1,000 may not tempt us to steal from the public fund. But what if we add several zeroes to the right of that amount (and there are always ways to circumvent controls), are we sure we will not be tempted? So the idea is to become stronger and stronger to resist temptation. This is a practical matter, not a theoretical one. So personal discipline is key; the constant effort to become a better person. All PROUTists are on this path of personal discipline. We sincerely encourage everyone to keep to a path of continuing transformation.

The power of money

Communism, Capitalism, Prout-Neohumanism. ⛳

“Isms” that separate man from man are all encouraged and patronized by the vaeshyas (Capitalist). Casteism, provincialism, nationalism, racism, are nurtured chiefly with the money of the vaeshyas, who finance the disintegration and division of the human race, so that the people may not in any way raise their voice against the rapacious vaeshyas. The vaeshyas, buying the vital force of the kśatriyas (Warriors) and the intellectual force of the vipras with the power of their money, keep the kśatriyas and vipras enslaved for a long time. A vaeshya's financial strength carries more weight than a vipra's power of speech and intellect, not to speak of the kśatriya's physical strength, and so a vaeshya has no difficulty at all in buying the vipra's brain and the kśatriya's brain with his money.

Human civilization now faces the final moment of a critical juncture. The dawn of a glorious new era is on one side and the worn-out skeleton of the past is on the other. Man has to adopt either of the two.

You, the spiritual soldiers, are the worshippers of the Divine. Hence, I call you to adorn this crimson dawn deluged with glorious light.
