In August of 2018, I shot the in demanding locations like the Sacobia River and Mt. Arayat, at the behest of lead organizer Robby Consunji.

Shine Estrada and I were reminiscing the fun and sometimes death-defying experience. Shine, a magnificent off-road biker, would bring me (riding pillion/nakaangkas) to shoot-worthy areas where the drivers were competing.

One day, I’d start shooting from the high vantage point of the Sacobia bridge. The drivers below would be racing to a wall their vehicles would climb and perhaps sink in the muddy river.

Then Shine would take me on his XTZ Yamaha to a location closer to the vehicles. He just told me this morning, “Bilib ako sa yo mag balance with all your equipment sa motor.”

I replied, “2kg on my left side (5D Mark II + 24-70mm lens) and 2kg on my right side (7D Mark II + 70-200mm lens), all hanging from my shoulders. Balansiyado pati itlog ko na umangat sa leeg ko. Hehehe.

Isang beses lang tayo kamuntik sumemplang sa madulas at maputik na daanan. Naalala ko pareho tayong sabay tumapak sa lupa gamit ang mga kanan paa natin. Mabuti na lang stunt rider din ako. 🙂”

The young guard of the San Antonio Spurs, Dylan Harper, is having a good time with Wembanyama after taking a picture of him where Wemby didn’t fit in the photo.

Wembanyama just laughed at Dylan and said he understands him because that’s how Filipinos are, always funny.

The DLSU Lady Spikers are unbeaten this season. But they have yet to face NU.

SPORTS: The DLSU Lady Spikers maintained their flawless record after dismantling the ADMU Blue Eagles, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15, 25-17, in their Women’s Volleyball Tournament showdown earlier today, March 1, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

SPORTS: Following her sensational run at the 2026 Dubai Tennis Championships, Filipino tennis ace Alex Eala rose to a new career-high at World No. 31 in the WTA rankings.

Eala’s campaign in Dubai saw another victory against a top 10 opponent, upsetting World No. 8 Jasmine Paolini in the round of 32.
