LOOK | Philippine National Badminton Open 2025

As the Philippine National Badminton Open 2025 concluded yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, it marked another year of valuable experience for our very own coach, who competed in the Open Mixed Doubles category alongside first-time partner Yasmine Bianca C. An, a varsity player from PNU. They faced David Isaac Libanan and Rheylyn Angela Pedron from Adamson University in the opening round and advanced to the Round of 32. There, they met Cristalyn Franco and Kyn Lawrence Bunda from Iloilo. Despite a valiant effort, they were defeated with scores of 4-21 and 11-21.

In the Open Men’s Singles Round of 256, Nick An went up against Julio Cartera. Though he fought hard, he ultimately lost with scores of 19-21 and 11-21, hindered by an injury during the match.

LOOK | Mr. Nick An, representing CAA Academy, participated in the Philippine Badminton Open 2024, Men's Singles Category at the First Pacific Leadership Academy. On June 5, in the Round of 256, he secured victory against Prince Lagman from Norte Greater of Dame Manila, with scores of 21-17 and 21-15. However, on June 6, in the Round of 128, he faced defeat against Nathaniel Acedillo from Adamson University, with scores of 2-21 and 5-21.
