Yesterday, the Montet Queens won their volleyball match.
Maybe that inspired the Manila Montet football team today, because what we saw was another unforgettable game.
The connection between both moments was clear: young Filipino kids in the crowd, watching with stars in their eyes. Dreaming that one day, they could be in their place — playing, competing, and making people proud.
This is what sport means here. It gives kids something to believe in.
And then came the match… a crazy 9–9 draw.
First Half: Omni SS strong start
Manila Montet started well with Anoh scoring early (6’) → 1–0
But Omni SS quickly turned the game around:
1–1 (8’) Blanchard Pehe
1–2 (16’) Jimson Crestal
1–3 (19’) Emmanuel Donkor
At 1–3 after 19 minutes, things looked very difficult for Manila Montet.
But they responded:
2–3 (23’) Joh
3–3 (31’) Anoh
Before Omni SS struck again:
3–4 (37’) Jimson Crestal
Half-time: Manila Montet 3–4 Omni SS
Second Half: total chaos
Manila Montet came out flying:
4–4 (51’) Kassi
5–4 (54’) Anoh
6–4 (58’) Ifeanyi
7–4 (68’) Kassi
8–4 (73’) Ulrich
At 8–4, Manila Montet were in full control and the stadium thought the game was finished.
But Omni SS refused to give up:
8–5 (74’) Emmanuel Donkor
8–6 (77’) Emmanuel Donkor
Then Manila Montet extended again:
9–6 (78’) Igat
But the final twist came from Omni SS:
9–7 (80’) Jimson Crestal
9–8 (83’) Jimson Crestal
9–9 (85’) Jimson Crestal
Full Time: Manila Montet 9–9 Omni SS
A completely insane match with constant momentum shifts, attacking football, and defensive struggles on both sides.
For the fans, it was pure entertainment from start to finish. Nobody left disappointed in terms of spectacle.
Manila Montet will regret not holding the 8–4 lead, while Omni SS will feel they were very close to completing one of the biggest comebacks of the season.
Season situation
Manila Montet remain unbeaten after six games in the Montet Challenge Series (Edition 3).
Only Adamson University and Manila Montet are now left in the title race.
Adamson must win their next match to stay alive, while Manila Montet still have two chances to secure the trophy.
Everything is still open.

Montet Challenge Series 3rd edition – First Match Summary
Final Score:
Manila Montet 10 - 1 Limanstyle FC
More Than Just a Scoreline
A strong result on paper, but the match had its own rhythm and story. Manila Montet started with intensity and control, setting the tone early in the first half. As the minutes passed, Limanstyle FC grew into the game, showing more confidence on the ball and creating better sequences. At halftime, the score stood at 4-1 — competitive, open, and still very much alive.
Second Half Dominance
The second half, however, told a different story. Manila Montet raised the tempo again and maintained relentless pressure. The game became increasingly one-sided, with the Blues controlling possession, dictating the pace, and converting their chances efficiently. A 6-0 second half reflected that dominance and sealed a 10-1 final score.
Respect Where It’s Due
Limanstyle FC deserves recognition. They showed quality, especially in their individual talent, and had strong moments during the first half. Their players clearly have ability — and with more time playing together, they can become a very dangerous side. Today’s scoreline may feel heavy, but it doesn’t fully reflect their potential.
Real Spirit, Real Football
They competed, they tried to build, and they didn’t shy away from the challenge. That mindset deserves respect. This is what football is about — stepping on the pitch, competing, and representing your team with pride.
Goalscorers

Full Time: 10-1
Eyes on What’s Next
For Manila Montet, this is another step forward. The team continues to build chemistry, intensity, and identity. But bigger challenges are coming — and that’s exactly where the real test begins.
A Warning to the Rest
This Manila Montet side is building something serious. With this level of intensity, depth, and unity, they will be very difficult to beat. The message is clear: any team stepping on the pitch against them knows what to expect.
Thank You, Limanstyle FC
Respect for the game, respect for the fight. We wish Limanstyle FC the best moving forward.

🏆 MONTET CHALLENGE SERIES – ANYTHING CAN STILL HAPPEN!
What a journey it has been so far!
Four matches, lots of goals, and many surprises.
Let’s take a quick look back 👇
⚽ October 5: Manila Montet FC 2–5 SAS FC
⚽ October 12: Manila Montet 7–1 Gaudutu Axis
⚽ October 19: Manila Montet 5–1 Visca FC
⚽ October 26: Manila Montet 9–5 Ilustrados
After four weeks, only SAS FC has beaten Manila Montet.
But the story is not finished yet — far from it.
According to the Challenge Series rules:
If no one else beats Manila Montet, Manila Montet will be the Champion 🏆
If exactly one team beats them (right now SAS FC), there will be a Final Match between SAS and Manila Montet ⚔️
But if another team beats Manila Montet before the end… things will get wild! Then, the two best teams will fight in the Final 🔥
So even if SAS FC is in a good position now, nothing is guaranteed yet especially that some very strong teams are about to join the competition.
The next matches will decide everything!
📅 Next Game: November 9 – Manila Montet vs Adamson University at Turf Bgc 10 am.
Then more action on November 16, 23, and 30!
Every goal now matters.
Every match could change the story.
Who will make it to the Final?
Let’s find out together! 💪🇵🇭

💯
🇵🇭⚽ “You don’t know Chieffy Caligdong? Then you don’t know Philippine football.”
At a time when football was still in the shadows of basketball in the Philippines, one name stood out, brighter than the floodlights of empty stadiums: Chieffy Caligdong.
Born on September 28, 1982 in Pototan, Iloilo, Chieffy grew up playing barefoot in rice fields and dusty streets. He didn’t grow up with sponsors, fancy gear, or big expectations. He had only a pair of legs, unshakable belief, and the heart of a people who didn’t yet know they could dream through football.
As captain of the Azkals, he wasn’t the tallest, the strongest, or the flashiest. But on the pitch, he was a giant. Fast. Clever. Fearless. He scored crucial goals, like when on November 27, 2012, he came in as a substitute in the 2nd half and scored an important goal for the Philippines in a 1–0 victory against Vietnam in the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup.
He made crowds rise in a country that barely paid attention to the sport.
Long before the good-looking Fil-foreign stars arrived, Chieffy was already inspiring a generation.
Today, many wear the national jersey but Chieffy came from the dirt, from the real heart of Philippine football.
A quiet hero. A living legend.
Chieffy Caligdong is definitely the soul of Filipino football.

🇵🇭 PHILIPPINES VS TAJIKISTAN — TONIGHT AT 7PM!
There’s something in the air. Jarvey Gayoso and the squad, captured in this photo, are smiling… but make no mistake — they’re ready for battle.
Laughter now, war later. This is what brotherhood looks like before a storm.
📸: — this is heart. This is the Pilipinas spirit.
💬 And yet… Tajikistan enters tonight as the clear favorite.
Most international betting sites place Tajikistan well ahead —
some give the Philippines less than a 20% chance to win, with odds like 1.47 vs 6.84.
But games aren’t won on paper. They’re won on the pitch.
And this group? They’ve got fire, hunger, and 113 million reasons to defy the odds.
Good news: Ultras Filipinas announced they will be there tonight in the stadium!
Without ultras, football loses its soul. They bring the passion, energy, and spirit that make the game truly alive.
Tonight, we fight. For pride. For the flag. For each other.
Let’s stand behind our boys. 7 PM — all eyes on the pitch. 🇵🇭⚽🔥
