Good morning Dragon Boat Club Teams,

We regret to inform you that the FEATI Dragon boat race was rescheduled to a later date due to many factors and constraints that we have encountered, these factors has prevented us from pushing through with the April 11 Race. We already asked Coach Len Escollante of PCKF to advise all teams joining the race about this update.

The final date will be announced here once everything is set. Our apologies for any inconvenience. But we are still hoping to see all of you in the next FEATI Dragon boat race.

DRAGON BOAT COMPETITION FOR PASIG RIVER AT PASIG RIVER

I.Race Categories

a.Open Category (Existing Club Teams) – 500 meters
•Men’s Division
•Mixed Division

b.Novice Category (School Based Amateur Teams) – 200 meters
•Mixed crew team

II.Team Members/Composition of the Crew:

•The crew of the men’s and women’s boats may only be composed of
competitors of the respective gender.
•Mixed teams must have a minimum number of 8 women for boat with 20
paddlers
•Dragon Boat crew of boats with 20 paddlers is composed of:
- the paddlers (minimum 18, maximum 20)
- the drumbeater
- the steerer
- 4 substitute paddlers in the respective classes
•Multiple Team Participation
Team members are not permitted to register or race for more than one
mixed team.
•Team Rosters
Team rosters shall consist of one team manager and a maximum of 26 crew members (including drummers and steer persons) for the purposes of practices and races.
•Submission of Rosters and waiver forms
Team rosters and waiver must be submitted to FEATI University Events and Promotions office no later than November 20, 2011.

III.Registration
•Each team must complete the Team Registration form which can be
downloaded from www.featiu.edu.ph or from Facebook account of FEATI Univ.

•To be valid, the registration form must also be accompanied by payment of the fee.
