Today, May 1, 2026, with deep sorrow, we share that our dearest Technical Director, Coach Richard Luna, has joined our Father God.

We are truly grateful for the dedication, passion, and invaluable contributions he shared with the Philippine Aquatics community. His legacy will continue to inspire athletes, coaches, and everyone whose lives he has touched.

In this time of grief, we humbly ask for your prayers for the eternal repose of his soul, and for strength and comfort for his family and loved ones.

He will always remain in our hearts. 🤍

The Philippine Water Polo Team has arrived for the Water Polo Clinic. Ready to train, inspire, and elevate the game!

We end our 33rd SEA Games Water Polo Campaign with heads held high! 🤽🏼‍♂️🤽🏼‍♀️

Composed of 23 SEA Games debutants led by 4 seasoned national water polo team players all ready to answer the call and fight for our country, we remain proud to have put up a fight and showed up until the very last buzzer. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

We are all in awe of what we have accomplished in less than a year and even more excited of what we're capable of and what the future holds for us! Together, we move forward as one team, one soul, one heart, and one nation! ❤️💙💛

With this, we would like to thank the Philippine Aquatics, Inc. and the Philippine Sports Commission for the support, understanding, opportunities, and trust you gave the Philippine National Water Polo Teams. 🌊🌊🌊

To Ms. Donna Quinto who served as our team manager for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, we are grateful for all you’ve done the whole year long for the team! 👩🏻‍💻

In the last two match days, our men’s team falls to the hosts and defending SEA Games champions respectively in their last two games putting up a brave fight against the region’s bests. 🇹🇭🇸🇬

Our women’s team follows suit suffering losses also at the hands of the hosts and neighboring country Indonesia. 🇮🇩 🇹🇭

In another close match, our men’s team failed to make a comeback with a late fourth quarter run and settled for a 1 goal loss against Malaysia! While our women’s team kept pushing the Malaysian side to take a hard fought win after a very defensive game from both sides. 🤽🏼‍♀️🤽🏼‍♂️🇵🇭🇲🇾

Steady progress and great effort from both our squads! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 Tomorrow the Philippine Men’s National Water Polo Team go against host nation Thailand! Our Philippine Women’s National Water Polo Team goes for it again against Indonesia in the afternoon. 🇹🇭🇮🇩
