Saint Jude Catholic School - Senior High School

Five Judenites from the Senior High School (SHS) clinched the Runner-up position and "People's Choice Award" at the 2026 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge with the theme, "Innoventures: From Community Problems to Science and AI Ventures," held on March 6, at Singapore School Manila.

Labeling themselves as "Me学," the team was composed of Jude Aldrich Allaga (12A), Reyhan Aldric Uy (12D), Josh Enzo Wee (12C), Vince Jeaysenth Chen (11D), and Sandy Ting (11A), under the supervision of Ms. Gian Carla Rico.

Tasked with integrating AI or science in tackling a community problem, the group sought to address literacy within the Chinese-Filipino community, introducing a Gemini-driven app named "Me学," which supported self-paced, user-dependent learning through assistive AI functions.

Entering the final round last February 18, the team performed a 5-minute "Shark Tank" pitch, limited to 8 slides and another 5-minute question-and-answer portion. Their Runner-up placement and "People's Choice" awards garnered them a P10,000 prize and Mind Museum tour package, respectively.

Congratulations to our Senior High School students from Saint Jude Catholic School for earning First Runner-Up at BioLOGIC 2026, held on March 7, 2026 at the UP Diliman Institute of Biology, University of the Philippines Diliman.

Representing the STEM Biology track, the team was composed of Shen Elisha Sy and Peyton Mishka Uy from 12C STEM Biology, along with Candice Chen from 11C STEM Biology. Competing against 52 participating schools, the team showcased exceptional knowledge and teamwork in this prestigious biology quiz bee organized by UP ABM, with this year’s theme focusing on Epigenetics.

We commend our students for their dedication and for proudly representing the Saint Jude Senior High School community. 💚

Stepping into the heart of healthcare 💉🏥

Last February 5, the Aspiring Medical Practitioners Club of Saint Jude Catholic School organized a hospital visit to Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center, where members had the opportunity to tour several departments and witnessed firsthand the dedication of healthcare professionals in caring for their patients.

This meaningful experience offered valuable insights into the realities of medical practice and strengthened our passion for pursuing careers in medicine and service to others. ✨🩺
