PLM Tugon ReSCUE proudly honors and commemorates the Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan), a solemn tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Filipino and American soldiers who bravely fought during World War II.

On April 9, 1942, thousands of soldiers endured the harrowing Bataan Death March, a testament to their unwavering strength, resilience, and love for the country. Despite immense hardship and suffering, their heroism became a powerful symbol of patriotism that continues to inspire generations.

Today, as we remember their legacy, let us honor their bravery by embodying the same spirit of courage, unity, and selflessness in our daily lives. May their sacrifices remind us of the true meaning of freedom and the responsibility we carry as Filipinos to uphold and protect it.

It is not shown through flowers or chocolate, but through the sacrifice and death of one man. The cross was heavy, the suffering was immense, yet His love was greater than it all. Today, our sins were crucified with Jesus, and through His sacrifice, we are made new. 💚

Though this Good Friday is solemn, we can still rejoice—because we are saved and given the promise of eternal life. 🙏 ✝️

On Maundy Thursday, we commemorate the Last Supper–where Christ washed the feet of His disciples and shared his final meal. An action that continues to be a powerful reminder of how we should live humbly and be in service of others.

However, we must not think of this day as a simple remembrance but as a reminder of our God-given duty to love, not just in theory but in practice. Christ calls us to love through our actions–to give without expecting anything in return and lead our lives with compassion and grace. He calls us to wash, to forgive, to ask for forgiveness, and above all, to love. As we move through the Holy Week, let us remember to love others just as Christ mandated us to. 💚
