🥈 SILVER MEDAL FOR JOHMARK APIGO! 🥋🇵🇭

A proud moment for Oras Taekwondo Team and Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) as Johnmark Apigo bags the Silver Medal in the Senior Male Advanced Division at the 2026 National Interschool Taekwondo Tournament!

Johnmark fought his way to the championship match against a strong opponent from San Beda. Despite suffering a foot injury, he continued to fight with courage, determination, and heart until the very end.

The gold may not have been ours today, but this silver represents hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and the courage to compete on a bigger stage. From Oras, Eastern Samar, to the national stage, Johnmark carried the pride of his hometown and ESSU with him. 🥋🔥

A heartfelt THANK YOU to BTC and Sir Sherwin Ambida for the support, guidance, and trust given to Johnmark throughout this journey. 🙏

On August 22–23, 2026, the moment we have been waiting for will finally come. Ninoy Aquino Stadium will witness one of the dreams of Oras Taekwondo becoming a reality. 🥋🔥

John Mark Apigo will proudly represent ORAS and ESSU at the 2026 National Interschool Taekwondo Championships, stepping onto a much bigger stage and competing alongside some of the best student-athletes from across the country.

For Oras Taekwondo, this is more than just a competition. This is a dream. This is a milestone. This is something we can all be proud of. 💙
