DOTR SECRETARY WANTS TO BRING BACK NCAP

During a joint press conference of the Department of Transportation, the Land Transportation Office, and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, Secretary Vince Dizon of the DOTr said he wants to bring back the no-contact apprehension policy. He added that given the high volume of motorists in the Philippines, deploying more traffic enforcers will not be enough to apprehend all traffic violators.

The implementation of NCAP has been suspended since 2022 following a temporary restraining order issued by the Supreme Court. “Hopefully, we can resolve the Supreme Court case soon, but in the meantime, we can add more enforcers.” Full story: https://tinyurl.com/47uyrp9e
