The MPC ARNIS TEAM is looking for the new/additional sets of Arnisadors for our fellow MPCians from 1st year to 4th year level S.Y. 2025-2026.

For those students who are interested to learn about "ARNIS" and be part of our growing Team, MPC Arnis Team will serve and welcomed you, MPCians! Whether you have experience or not, you can join. We are willing to teach and share our knowledge in the field of Arnis.

Our team has a high dream for the development of Arnis in our Institute. The Team consists of hardworking, responsible, dedicated, kindhearted, passionate and disciplined student-athletes. Come and try the National Sport of the Philippines, Arnis! See you, future Arnisadors!

Congratulations to MPC’s Arnis Team for bagging a total of 19 combined Medals consisting of 14 Bronze, 4 Silvers, and 1 Gold on Live Stick and Full Contact Event of Arnis last 33rd SCUAA NCR – Games held at Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA), June 21.

𝗠𝗣𝗖 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗔𝗔-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀

Ang Rizal Technological University (RTU) ay naging saksi sa matagumpay na pagdaos ng State Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (SCUAA)-2024 Arnis Playoffs na kung saan ang kompetisyon ay nagsimula noong Disyembre 2 at nagtapos noong Disyembre 4.

Sa unang araw ng kompetesyon ay nagsimula sa pag-weigh-in at draw lots ng mga atleta. Ang mga ito ay nahati sa iba't ibang kategorya tulad ng pinweight, lightweight, middleweight, bantamweight, half-middleweight, at open weight. Ka kung saan ang MPC Arnis Team ay hindi nakipaglaban sa kategoryang Anyo.

Sa pangalawang araw ng kompetisyon ay nagsimula ang laro sa Padded at Livestick na kung saan ang mga atleta ay naglaban sa apat na round ang elimination, quarters, semi, at finals. Ang kompetisyon sa Padded ay nagsimula noong Disyembre 3 mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 2:30 ng hapon, samantalang ang Livestick ay nagsimula sa parehong araw mula 3:00 hanggang 6:00 ng hapon at nagpatuloy ito hanggang Disyembre 4 mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 1:00 ng hapon

Pagkatapos ng naganap na kompetesyon sa pagitan ng mga kalahok, pinarangalan ang mga nagwagi sa larangan ng arnis. Nanalo ng Tansong medalya sa babae (bronze medal) sina Raynie Mae P. Salahop, sa Padded gayon din si Allyssa Raven R. Medenilla sa Lightweight. Pagdating sa kalalakihan nagwagi ng Tansong medalya sina Raul Joaquin P. Lebrias sa Pinweight at sa Middleweight naman si John Benedict A. Rodfo.

Bukod pa riyan nanalo din ng Tansong Medalya si Raynie Mae P. Salahop sa Pinweight at Bantamweight naman si Ellyza N. Dayola. Hindi rin nagpahuli si Allyssa Raven R. Medilla ng nag-wagi ng Pilak na medalya sa Lightweight. Dagdag pa rito si James Q. Mateo ay nag-uwi rin ng Tansong medalya sa livestock at Tansong medalya rin Kay Melvin S. Dayrit sa Half-Lightweight.

Ang SCUAA-2024 Arnis Playoffs ay nagpatunay ng kahusayan at dedikasyon ng mga atleta sa larangan ng arnis. Ang mga nagwagi ay nagbigay ng karangalan sa kanilang mga paaralan at pamilya.

Congratulations MPC Arnis Team after getting 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze at the "6th Leg: Pro Active Arnis Tournament 2024" held at Robinsons Antipolo, October 6, 2024. The tournament was not easy but it did not hinder our players to fight with all their heart and all their strength at the end.
Remember, every great achievement begins with self-belief and the relentless pursuit of what we love. Keep fighting, keep believing, and never give up! We're proud of you all players!
