Another strong performance from Ompong Gabriel 77 as he secured 4th place in today’s race at the Mongol Grand Prix - MX Leauge!

It was a consistent and calculated ride for Ompong throughout 32 minutes of intense racing, continuing to prove he belongs among the front-runners of the championship.

The action resumes on June 20–21 for the next round of the Mongol Grand Prix - MX League.

Meanwhile, Ompong’s teammate, Yui Hoshino of the Yamaha Mongolia Racing Team, claimed the top spot in today’s race with a dominant performance.

Congratulations to our very own Ompong Gabriel 77 ( #77) for an impressive 5th Place finish in the opening leg of the Mongol Grand Prix - MX League!

Despite facing the challenge of Mongolia’s harsh cold weather and adapting to a completely different racing environment, Ompong showcased the grit, speed, and determination of a true Filipino motocross warrior, securing a coveted spot inside the Top 5 against some of the region’s finest riders.

Adding to the celebration, the Yamaha Mongolia Racing Team currently sits 2nd Overall in the Team Standings, proving that the battle for the championship is far from over.

Special congratulations as well to Yamaha Mongolia's rising star Tamir Enkhbat, who dominated the 250cc class of his age category. Filipino fans may remember Tamir as one of the young talents who previously competed in the Teves Cup here in the Philippines.

This is more than a race result - it's another statement that Filipino riders can compete on the international stage. The journey continues, and we know Ompong is only getting started.

Another major milestone for Philippine motocross as our very own Ompong Gabriel 77 takes his talent beyond our shores and flies to Mongolia to compete in the Mongol Grand Prix MX League under the banner of Yamaha Racing Mongolia.

For the next 3 months, Ompong will take on the challenge of completing all three legs of the championship, carrying not only his team colors but the pride of an entire nation. This is bigger than racing. This is a Filipino rider stepping onto foreign soil and proving that our athletes have the speed, heart, and grit to battle with the best.

FJ Moto Enduro extends its deepest gratitude to Yamaha Motor Mongolia for opening opportunities and believing in Filipino talent. Moments like these create pathways for the next generation of riders who dream of bringing their skills to the world stage.

The roar of engines officially signals the start of the Norminring Motocross Championship! Riders from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are now arriving at Norminring Enduro Park, Brgy. Bagocboc, Opol, Misamis Oriental, ready to showcase their speed, skill, and fighting spirit on the track.

Day 1 marks the Official Practice Day as participants prepare for an action-packed weekend of motocross racing!
