IKOT PINAS: BEYOND THE COURT 🏐⛰️

Ikot Pinas is about more than just on-tour coaches' workshops and volleyball clinics. It’s about the people behind the game, the communities we visit, and the dreams of young people who hope to go further through sports.

Before we play, we take the time to listen, connect, and understand the community.

Every court has a story, and every young athlete has a dream. ❤️

🎥 Here's a look at our community and heritage tour in Mayoyao, Ifugao.

9 years of impact. And we're going further. 🏐🇵🇭

As we celebrate 9 years of building communities through sports, Coach Nicole Tiamzon shares what's next: Ikot Pinas is heading to Mindanao!

Through the Ikot Pinas Volleyball Development Program in partnership with Let's Keep The Ball Flying, we're opening new opportunities for schools, coaches, and young athletes to play, grow, and thrive through sports.

A new chapter begins. Ikot Pinas goes further. ❤️

🔆 Lighting Up Courts, Sparking Dreams 🏐✨

The Sinag ng Pangarap Project officially kicked off in Morong, Bataan, and what a meaningful start it was! We started the day by building connections over lunch, followed by an insightful discussion on Sports Psychology led by Barangay Sabang SK Chairman and Volleybukids' very own Jayson Topasi. He shared valuable lessons on mental toughness—helping young athletes strengthen not just their skills but also their mindset on and off the court.

A key highlight was the official turnover of solar lamps from SOLAR Hope to the Volleybukids and new volleyballs to support their training. With their court now lit, they can extend their training hours and take one step closer to achieving their dreams.

This is just the beginning. As we light up more volleyball communities, we're not just providing solar lamps—we're fueling hope and creating opportunities for young athletes to thrive. 🌟🏐

🏐 Ikot Pinas Stories: From Starting Out to Giving Back

Some of the most meaningful stories begin with simply showing up.

Coach Nicole shares the story of Volleybukids, our Ikot Pinas community in Bataan, and its founder, Pedro Aquino Jr., whom we first met as a college student starting a small volleyball group.

Years later, that group has grown into a community that continues to develop young athletes, run volleyball activities on their own, and extend opportunities to nearby communities. ❤

From playing barefoot on bukid dirt to hearing the thunder of city crowds, the path has been nothing less than legendary. 🏐🌾

Bot, claiming the NCAA Season 101 Indoor Men’s Volleyball 1st Runner-Up title is a testament to the power of a dream fueled by grit and unwavering faith. Maligayang kaarawan, Bot!

Bot, leaving the bukid wasn't just about chasing a degree—it was about proving that a kid from the province could hold their own on the court. Trading fresh air for city lights and farm chores for intense drills, all to turn a dream into a reality.

Mula saiyong FARMilya, mahal na mahal ka namin! We are so proud of you, batang bukid!
