It’s been 2 weeks since I put myself into self quarantine, soon after all were advised to stay home and to observe social distance. As an introvert these terms felt natural and yes easy but the past weeks proved to be the exact opposite...not easy, definitely uncertain and disconnected. I felt moved to reach out to my friends, my students, my community and see how everyone is coping. At this point I had a call to courage moment.

So I gathered 14 teachers to join me lead reach out our arms across seas in the hopes of lifting our communities during this difficult time. I’m calling this action 15 Day Thrive Challenge, inspired by Maya Angelou’s words: "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour and some style." "Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently." So please invite others to join, practice with us, share photos using the tag and maybe we shift the energy of uncertainty around us to hope.

In compliance with the Philippine national government’s proclamation of a Metro Manila-wide community quarantine, and in support of the multi-sector effort to contain the COVID-19 epidemic, we have decided to close Beyond Alabang, like our sister studios in the north.

To clarify, *NONE of the individuals with confirmed COVID-19 cases have been to any of the Beyond studios.*

However, we have taken additional measures to ensure the health and safety of clients, teachers, and staff, including:
* Provision of hand hygiene stations and implementation of stricter preventive protocols in all studios.
* Disinfection and sanitation of all studios using comprehensive cleaning, and air sanitation services.

The extended closure will allow us to observe the implementation of the community quarantine by the national government agencies, local government units, and private estates where our studios are located.

This way, we will be able to protect our clients, teachers, and staff from unnecessary stress and make better informed decisions moving forward.

Ending the epidemic requires a collective effort. We urge everyone to cooperate with the health authorities and only follow updates and information from verified sources.

We wish that you all remain safe and in the best of health.
