A few of our fencers managed to put in some work overseas just over a week ago, highlighted by Hampton Court FC's Tasha Martinez winning her two events at te 31st CU Open Fencing Championships in Bangkok.

Martinez topped the U-14 Women's Epee and U-17 Women's Foil categories.

In Japan, the 7th Chofu City Fencing Autumn Tournament featured two Ezkrima fencers securing podium finishes.

Richard de Guzman finished runner-up in Men's Sabre, while Andrea Alarcon made it in the women's Sabre.

In the American collegiate scheme of things...

Boston College's Isabella Paulus made it to the R16 of the Women's Foil portion of the Nikki Franke Classic, while Haverford College's Dean Myers was 38th in men's Foil.

And in Spain...

Miggy Bautista fnished 91st out of over two hundred fencers in Men's Epee for the FIE Tournoi Satellite in Barcelona, while Sam Catantan finished 6th in the TNR Senior Open in Sabadell for foil.

Ateneo fencing icon Maxine Esteban, who recently became a Rebisco Extreme ambassador, finished 19th in the same tournament as Catantan.
