LeBron James has once again left his mark on an NBA game with a "ridiculous" play that basketball fans have been going bonkers over.

Anthony Davis may have been the top-scorer for the Lakers in a 120-107 win over Philadelphia but it was James' moment of magic that left viewers in a spin.

The Lakers were up by 16 points early in the third quarter when the three-time NBA champion decided to give fans another taste of his incomparable talent.

Dribbling the ball out from back court, James took a few steps over the halfway mark before launching a long-range bomb from the Lakers logo at Staples Center.

James oozed cool as he nonchalantly put up the shot from way behind the three-point line, with stunned Lakers teammates checking the spot afterwards to verify what they'd just witnessed actually happened.

The incredible play had commentators scrambling for superlatives and fans in a frenzy on social media.

That’s just ridiculous. LeBron can get any shot he wants. Against anyone. And then takes stupid shots like that for fun and they go in. Still the best player in the world. No debate.

Are you kidding me??? LeBron just drained a 3 from the R in the Lakers logo at half court

LeBron James had 22 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds for the Lakers, who moved to 47-13 on Tuesday with their ninth win in 10 games.

Davis hit four 3-pointers while going 13 of 19 from the field and grabbing 13 rebounds.

He scored 18 of his 37 points during a phenomenal second-quarter surge, before Los Angeles held off the injury-depleted Sixers.

The Lakers needed every bit of their All-Stars' brilliance to hold off a solid effort by the undermanned Sixers, who played without injured starters Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson.

Glenn Robinson III matched his career high with 25 points and Tobias Harris had 18 for the Sixers, who have lost nine consecutive road games since January 20.

Philly's role players and backups got off to an impressive start, taking an early 13-point lead. That's when Davis took control as part of a 42-10 run by the Lakers in 10 minutes spanning halftime.

Levert leads epic Brooklyn fightback against Boston
Elsewhere, Caris Levert scored 37 of his career-high 51 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to help Brooklyn erase a 21-point second-half deficit in their 129-102 win over Boston.

Levert had all of Brooklyn's 11 points in the extra period after he tied the game in the closing seconds of regulation.

He got fouled on a 3-point attempt by Marcus Smart and held his nerve to connect on all three of his free throws with 0.2 seconds left.

That capped a 51-point fourth quarter by the Nets, a franchise record for most points in any period.

Kawhi Leonard scored 25 points to help Los Angeles Clippers beat Oklahoma City 109-94 and win their fifth straight while Tim Duncan, who won more than 1,000 games as an NBA player with San Antonio, celebrated his first victory as an acting head coach.

The Spurs overcame a horrid beginning without coach Gregg Popovich and then held on without scoring in the final two minutes of a 104-103 victory at Charlotte.

Dejounte Murray scored 21 points while Bryn Forbes had 15 points and Australian shooting guard Patty Mills added 13 off the bench.

Popovich was absent from the game due to what the team termed as personal business.

Pascal Siakam scored 33 points to help enable the Toronto Raptors to rally past the Phoenix Suns 123-114 and end a three-game losing streak.

Kyle Lowry added 28 points for the Raptors, who have won six straight meetings with the Suns.

The Raptors trailed by 17 points during the second quarter and were behind by seven at halftime before taking a one-point lead into the fourth quarter.

In other games, the Golden State Warriors beat the Denver Nuggets 116-110, Minnesota beat New Orleans 139-134 and the Sacramento Kings outlasted the Washington Wizards 133-126.
