Legends Can Come From Anywhere: Honoring CJ Austria’s Journey from CSL to Titan Ultra

Some stories feel special not because they are loud or dramatic, but because they are real. CJ Austria’s journey is one of those stories.

CJ an alumnus of Courtside Legends Basketball, having competed as part of Team REXDEI, where his growth as both a player and a person truly took shape. He wasn’t always the most talked about athlete in the room but he was always one of the most committed. Day in and day out, CJ showed up ready to work, ready to listen, and ready to improve.

Within Team REXDEI, CJ learned what CSL stands for: discipline over shortcuts, teamwork over ego, and effort even when no one is watching. He earned respect not just through performance, but through attitude—by trusting the process, respecting his coaches and teammates, and staying grounded no matter the situation.

Today, we are proud to share that CJ has signed a one-year professional contract with Titan Ultra. This milestone is more than a career move—it’s the result of years of quiet dedication. It’s proof that progress doesn’t always happen overnight, but it always comes to those who stay the course.

CJ’s journey reminds us why we believe so deeply in the CSL motto:
Legends can come from anywhere.

They come from local courts.
They come from small gyms and long practices.
They come from teams like REXDEI.
They come from players who choose to work when it’s hard and stay humble when it gets better.
