𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗼?

Ang drainage project sa Bruger Street ay bahagi ng solusyon sa matagal nang pagbaha sa national road, partikular sa tapat ng City Hall.

Matagal na nating problema ang pagbaha sa lugar na ito. Ang orihinal na plano sana ay dumaan ang drainage sa ilang private properties, pero hindi ito napayagan kaya kinailangan nating humanap ng ibang ruta.

Dito napagdesisyunan na idaan sa Bruger Street ang drainage line papunta sa Laguna de Bay.

𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲?

Habang ginagawa ang proyekto, may mga natuklasang underground utilities tulad ng linya ng tubig, kuryente, at telco na kinailangang i-relocate muna bago maituloy nang maayos ang drainage works.

Hindi rin madali ang relocation dahil maraming residente at serbisyo ang maaaring maapektuhan. Nakipag-coordinate tayo sa mga public utility companies para mapabilis ang proseso habang sinisigurong minimal ang abala sa mga tao.

𝗔𝗻𝗼 𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗸𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀?

Sa ngayon, tapos na ang malaking bahagi ng drainage works sa Bruger Street at asphalting na lamang ang hinihintay. Magagawa ito matapos makumpleto ang ongoing drainage works sa tapat ng City Hall.

𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘀?

Target nating matapos ang drainage works sa harap ng City Hall ngayong May, at susunod agad ang asphalting sa Bruger sa June.

Sa ngayon, may ginagawang adjustment sa design dahil may nakitang active gas line. Kung hindi iingatan, posibleng masira ang active gas lines dahil sa bigat ng mga sasakyang dumadaan sa National Road.

Unfortunately, wala ring existing o kumpletong records on file ng eksaktong lokasyon ng ilang underground utilities tulad ng gas lines, water lines, electrical at telco facilities, at iba pang linya sa ilalim ng kalsada.

Dahil dito, isa-isa pa itong kinailangang tukuyin at i-validate habang ongoing ang paghuhukay at konstruksyon upang maiwasan ang mas malaking aberya at pagkaantala ng serbisyo.

Malinaw sa kontraktor ang kanilang obligasyon. Kapag may hindi nasunod sa kontrata o hindi katanggap-tanggap na delay, may kaakibat itong multa at kaukulang parusa.

Sa ngayon, hinihingi po namin ang kaunting pang-unawa at pasensya habang tinatapos ang proyektong magbibigay ng pangmatagalang ginhawa laban sa pagbaha.

An International Champion Built in Muntinlupa 👏🇵🇭

Kaila Napolis of Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, made history as the Philippines’ first gold medalist at the World Combat Games in Riyadh.

She is also a two-time World Championships medalist, a 2023 Asian Games bronze medalist, and a 2025 World Games silver medalist, establishing herself among the country’s most consistent performers in jiu-jitsu.

But her impact goes beyond competition.

The Muntinlupa City Government passed Resolution No. 2023-339 in her honor, recognizing her as a Barangay Poblacion resident and highlighting her role in youth sports development under the Youth Affairs and Sports Development Office (YASDO).

From international podiums to local recognition, her journey reflects both sporting excellence and community pride.
