Some goodbyes are harder than others. ❤️

Today, we say “see you later” to one of our OG kids’ students Hana—someone who has grown up on these mats and become such a special part of our Deftac family.

Over the years, we’ve watched her develop not only as a martial artist, but as a person. From the kids’ classes to regularly training alongside the adults, she has always shown dedication, humility, and a willingness to learn. More importantly, she has been an incredible teammate, a wonderful friend, and someone who always brought positive energy to every class.

To her proud parents, thank you for trusting us to be a small part of her journey. The young woman she has become is a reflection of the love, support, and values you’ve instilled in her.
While we’re sad to see her go, we’re excited for everything that lies ahead. No matter where life takes you, you’ll always have a home here on these mats and a family cheering you on from afar.

Batch 5 has officially wrapped — and what a run it’s been. This one will go down as one for the books. We had the privilege of watching Liki, Jaime, and Vinnie grow right before our eyes, and now they’ve earned their spots in the advanced kids class. That kind of progress doesn’t happen by accident — it happens through showing up, again and again. So proud of all three of you. 🏆

To everyone who was part of Batch 5 — thank you for trusting us with your journey.
