On this day, the 23rd of February, the Ateneo De Naga University Senior High School recognizes the individuals who have shown immense competency in journalism and sports through their active participation in the 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 (𝙍𝙎𝙋𝘾) and the 𝘽𝙞𝙠𝙤𝙡 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 (𝘽𝘼𝘾𝙎).

This recognition is more than just showing pride; it is a celebration of the countless efforts, discipline, and courage these individuals have shown in representing and showcasing the values and competencies of an Atenean.

The Ateneo de Naga University boys football team spent their long weekend training for the upcoming Bikol Association of Catholic School Meet (BACS Meet) that will be happening from 6-8 of February, 2026, at the Holy Rosary Major Seminary field.

Guided by their coaches, the players showed grit, discipline, and determination—proof of their commitment to represent the university with pride.

As the countdown begins, the AdNU BFT are fired up and ready to give their all on the field. 💙⚔️💛

The Ateneo de Naga University Senior High School Monday General Assembly provided encouragement, and pride as they gathered to honor the students who represented the university for ROCO Cup, Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), and City Meet.

These competitions are more than just events, they are platforms where hard work, discipline, teamwork, and passion are put to the test. The Atenean delegates carry not only their skills and talents, but also the values of excellence, integrity, and service that define our community.

"We once again congratulate the ADNU JHS- SHS Football Team for the campaign in the Palarong Panlungsod and for earning them a 2nd runner-up.

We would like to give thanks to our JHS-SHS moderators sir Albertson Adan & sir John Carlo Oliva, together with them is our Coach Jovee Gapayao for all the guidance and support. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the parents who continuously encouraged and stood by our players throughout the tournament! VAMOS BOYS💙💛⚔️⚽️"

Day 2 of Palarong Panglungsod 2026. ⚽️⚔️

The ADNU Football team played against CSNHS showcasing determination, teamwork and discipline. Both teams battled with all their heart ending the game with a score of 0-0. The match went down to a penalty shootout, where CSNHS secured the win, 7-6. Despite the loss, the team fought with pride, unity and sportsmanship reflecting the true character of an athlete. 💙💛

Day 1 of Palarong Panlungsod 2026⚽️⚔️

The ADNU Football Team faced Don Leon Q Mercado High School in a thriller ending. Don Leon struck first and the Golden Knights tried with all their might to equalise but still fell short with a score of 3-1. A tough loss, but our fight, pride, and unity remain. We hope for your support on day 2 tomorrow 8:00 a.m against CSNHS! OBF 💛💙

What a way to end 2025! ⚔️⚽️

The ADNU SHS Football Club joins the SANS Cup 2025, prepared to take on the challenge with passion, pride and discipline.

Finishing the tournament with 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss, the team displayed their grit, skills and teamwork with true sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

We extend our gratitude to our coaches, whose efforts, guidance, and commitment made this opportunity possible. We also give thanks to the SANS Cup organizers for inviting and trusting the club to be part of this tournament.💙💛

The team delivered a great performance taking the win against USI Naga. With excellent teamwork and determination, the team displayed grit, discipline and hard work from start to finish, emerging as champions of this tournament.

A huge congratulations to all the players who showcased their skills with true sportsmanship. All the efforts truly paid off and made this achievement possible.

We also extend our gratitude to the coaches and parents who supported and guided the team throughout the tournament. Your leadership served as an inspiration for the players to strive towards victory.

From December 7 to 11, our student-athletes proudly represent the Blue and Gold in this citywide tournament of private schools. The games officially opened last December 7 at Naga College Foundation, and our Ateneans are now ready to give their all—heart, hustle, and spirit.

With 197 student-athletes carrying the Ateneo banner:
• 80 from the Grade School
• 65 from the Junior High School
• 81 from the Senior High School

We stand with you as you compete not just for medals, but for growth, friendship, and excellence. Play with courage, integrity, and magis—always doing more for God’s greater glory.

Good luck, Ateneans! May your hard work shine and lead you all the way to representing the private schools at the City Meet 2026.

OGs vs New Gen ⚔️⚽️

The Ateneo SHS Football Club continued their preparations for the Sanz Cup 2025 this coming December 28, sharpening their skills with a special tune-up match against the Ateneo Football Alumni.

Experience proved its edge as the OGs outscored the new generation, 2–1. Despite the loss, our team gained valuable lessons and insights from the alumni—wisdom you can only earn on the pitch.

We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to train and compete with them. See you again on the field! 💙💛
