We are thrilled to share that our triathlon team made a splash at the 8th Ateneo de Cebu's Invitational Swimming Competition! It was their first time competing outside the region, and we couldn't be prouder of our young athletes for surpassing their personal bests and taking on pure swimmers in the pool.

A special shout out to Hannah Lou Samputon for her outstanding performance, securing bronze medals in the 50m and 100m Freestyle event. Let's also give a round of applause to Hans Nathan Samputon for clinching bronze in 100m Breaststroke event.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support. Your encouragement and cheers truly made a difference in our team's journey. The stories we've shared and the memories we've created together will forever be etched in our hearts.

Today we celebrate all our kids who have set their own NEW personal records in every swim stroke in the Piña Festival Swim Cup organized by Ormoc Kingfisher.

We are also proud to announce that our swim captain, Hannah Lou Samputon , was awarded as the Most Outstanding Swimmer for girls 11-12 age category.

Congratulations to Fritzie Rosales Surima , Lauren Lee Tan, Aliya Nora Adre, Hans Nathan Samputon, Khloe Rimando, Mitch Raine Salva, and Lavinia Hadleigh Tan for bagging gold, silver, and bronze medals in classes A and B.

Competing against the pure, hardworking swimmers is not an easy task. Surely, facing strong contenders helps us become stronger, more competitive swimmers in our future Triathlon events.

SWIM SAFETY: Let your kids wear this color in the pool

The last thing you want your kid to be in case of any water emergency is difficult to spot, swim safety instructors say, let the kids wear RED or BRIGHT ORANGE, which contrasts with the blue of the water.

Two years ago, Ms. Hannah Lou Samputon, aged 9, enrolled at Ormoc Aquatic Edge to learn how to swim and curb gadget addiction. With training consistency and trust in the process, she is now facing a bigger challenge as she is the ONLY elementary swimmer in the region who is bracing the pre-qualifying event in Cebu City for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa in Marikina City from July 29 to August 5, 2023.
