Agosto 26, 2026 — isang petsang mananatili sa kasaysayan ng Philippine baseball.

Itinala ng Philippine Women’s National Baseball Team ang kauna-unahang panalo nito sa WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup matapos talunin ang World No. 7 Cuba, 6–0, sa Tainan, Chinese Taipei.

Higit pa sa isang panalo, ito ang unang World Cup victory ng ating women’s baseball program sa unang pagsabak ng Pilipinas sa pinakamataas na antas ng kompetisyon sa women’s baseball.

Mula World No. 21, pinatunayan ng ating mga Filipina ballplayers na kaya nilang makipagsabayan sa ilan sa pinakamahuhusay na koponan sa mundo.

The Philippines 12U PG Team etched its name in history with its first-ever victory over a Japanese team on Japanese soil, defeating the hosts 8-4 in the All Japan Championship Tournament at Aoba no Mori Field.

This victory is more than a final score, it is a testament to the heart, discipline, and determination of young Filipino athletes. Every pitch, every hit, and every out brought them one step closer to making history.

Today, they didn’t just win a game, they inspired a nation and proved that Filipino baseball belongs on the international stage. 🇵🇭🔥
