Lifting Others, Staying Together!

Another month, another set of miles logged by the LOST Runners!

A huge shoutout to our top mileage earners who continue to put in the work as they prepare for the upcoming Ormoc City Marathon 2026. Every kilometer is a step closer to the finish line, and your consistency is inspiring the rest of the us.

To those with lower mileage this month, don’t be discouraged. Every runner has a different season, pace, and schedule. What matters most is showing up, lacing up, and taking that next step forward. Progress isn’t measured only by the numbers—it’s measured by the commitment to keep going.

Let’s keep building those miles, supporting one another, and making every run count. See you on the roads, LOST Runners!

Happy Birthday, Kurt Russel! 🎉

Hope your day’s filled with good food, good vibes, and enough energy to finally show up for a run with us again. 😂🏃‍♂️

The roads haven’t been the same without you, and the LOST Runners are definitely looking forward to running with you again soon. Stay strong, stay fast, and enjoy your day, birthday boy!

Super Belated Happy Birthday to Vera! 🎉

Sorry this greeting arrived slower than an “easy pace” run. 😭 You may not be running much these days, but the LOST Runners are still waiting for your comeback — no pressure… just a little team-induced guilt.

Hope to see you running with us again soon. Wishing you happiness, strong legs, and more miles ahead!

Advance Happy Birthday for next year!

Happy Birthday, Master Melvin! 🎉🏃‍♂️

Welcome to the dirty thirty — where recovery takes longer but the stories get better. 😆 Wishing you good health, strong legs, and more adventures this new chapter of life.

Hopefully we can hit the road again soon with the LOST Runners — whether it’s an easy run, a race, or just pretending the long run isn’t painful. 😅

Enjoy your day, Master! Cheers to 30 and more miles ahead.

Are you running too hard to see progress?

What is an "Easy Run"? An easy run is the foundation of endurance training. It’s a low-intensity session where you prioritize effort over speed, designed to build your aerobic base without overtaxing your body.

How to Identify an Easy Run:
Instead of checking your watch for pace, focus on your body. You should be able to maintain a full conversation without getting winded. If you are using a heart rate monitor, you want to stay within Zone 2 (roughly 60-70% of your maximum heart rate). It might feel "too slow," but that's exactly the point.

The Benefits:
By slowing down, you improve your body's ability to utilize oxygen, strengthen tendons and ligaments, and promote faster recovery between harder workouts.

Remember: consistency beats intensity.
