The Pikes folding bike fits the urban commuter lifestyle like a glove.

Won P500 worth of GC at Bonifacio Global City page.

They were asking to share photos of favorite BCG Sceneries.

I shared the night time pic of the Pikes at the Between the lines mural as it is an icon in BGC and is frequent visit by cyclists.

The photo was taken by my mobile phone using night mode settings.

The picture turned out great, showing the full details of everyones favorite astronaut, the lights of the buildings around it, and the colorful bricks on the floor.

The judges chose it as one of the five winners out of all the entries.

This is the first photo contest I won.

The folding bike gives me another new experience.

Bimodal Day

Missed a planned folding bike meetup (TiGAs June 2022) today.

I stayed way too late due to an upset stomach last night.

I just went ahead with the 2nd half of what I have planned, the weekly trip to Cogeo, Antipolo.

Was not feeling like battling the noontime sun the whole trip so I went bimodal.

Even with the new guidelines for folding bikes at the MRT and LRT there was no added hastle experienced so far.

I did a clean up of the Pikes Folding Bike last night (preparation for TiGAs) and found the souce of the creeking sound of the bike.

I'll make a separate post on what it is.

For now keep riding.

Adventure Unfolds

Snaps from TSP Super Friday Ride.

Route was meetup at Manila, Kartilya ng Katipunan, 2nd location is Taguig, BGC ROX, 3rd is Pasig, Ortigas Park, 4th is at Cainta, Sta. Lucia East, and last stopover is QC, UP Bahay ng Alumni.

Then the ride ends with a trip back to Kartilya ng Katipunan in Manila.

I joined at BGC ROX, and the MAD team (group who initiated the ride invite) and their Ride Leaders were cool and kept the group organized and safe even with this long ride.

I separated from the group at Aurora Cubao (I already informed the RL at UP stopover), as I was going to stay in Cogeo, Antipolo over the weekend.

Night in folding bike was a lot of fun.

Attended TSP (Tiklop Society of the Philippines) TiGAs (Tiklop General Assembly) March 6, 2022.

I really enjoy the company of this group.

As there were a lot of new joiners, they shared stories of TSP's beginnings and how the folding bike enthusiast made urban folding bike riding evolve from an image of a clown to a cool cat.

I was able to join a spin around UP Diliman, I haven't been there since 2008.

Looking forward to the next TiGAs meeting.
