Commitment boosts you to perform things that aren't fun but necessary. Having a commitment makes it hard to overlook shortcomings. This drowns out all your justifications for wanting to throw everything away.
Definitely not the strongest but stronger than before. Looking back at old videos made me realize all those training and frustration paid off. You won't notice your growth unless you realize where you started. I hope this post makes you look back and realize how greatly you progressed. 🤩

It was 2013 when I realized I wasn’t taking care of my body well. That’s the time I started to try different diets and different workouts. My goal back then was always to be skinny. 2018 was when I discovered crossfit and realized that I just dont want to be skinny but I want to be strong. My 2019 and 2020 were spent doing all the wods and indoor cycling that I can 😅 It was Feb 2021 when I joined HMD and it really shifted my mindset about fitness. More than just doing the workouts, I focused on my nutrition, getting rest, lifting heavy and strengthening my body engine! Thanks to my HMD coaches who always push me whenever I say “hindi ko kaya” and for making me do “one more rep!”. This fitness journey is forever!

isn't really the type to be disciplined when it comes to food. She eats when she craves but most of the time she tries to eat clean (maybe about 70%). She works out 3x a week lifting heavy, she complains a lot but gets the work done (with the right push). Now THIS is a very doable lifestyle. You don't have to eat 100% clean when you want progress but we want it 100% sustainable.

has been very consistent with her workout everyday and it shows. Together with good nutrition, she was able to gradually make progress without restricting any food from her diet. Good job Mara!
