DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Ensures that all IT facilities and equipment is up and running properly.
-Provide first level technical support for pc, laptop, printer issues including its peripherals and networks reported by end-users.
-Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity problems; refers more complex problems to IT Manager/ Supervisor and/ or vendors for resolution
-Install new/ rebuild existing computers, printers, peripherals, network cables and network devices.
-Installs and configures operating system, office applications, antivirus and other software as needed.
-Perform basic server and network administration (e.g. account lockout, user creation, IP addressing, network cabling, etc.)
-Establishes and configures network connectivity for hardware and devices.
-Maintain asset inventory and tags of PCs, laptops, printers, hardware peripherals
-Maintain records/ logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
-Resolve and conduct root cause analysis of system performance/ failure issues
-Maintains effective communication with end users on all tasks and projects.
-Provides emergency on-call support.

Tasks to be learned while On-The-Job Training
•Provide basic corporate network infrastructure and server support.
•Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software.
•Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions.
•Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs.
•Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses.
