keep cool during the summer 🍹🧊☀️ here are a few tips to beat the heat ⬇️

1. hydrate 💧 — this will not only replenish lost fluids from sweating, but also regulate your body temperature 🌡 and keep your brain functioning properly throughout your ride! 🧠 bring an extra bottle or stop by a convenience store when you can 💦

2. sunscreen 🧴 — it's always best to protect your skin with sunscreen that offers ample UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) protection! our tip is to pick a sunscreen with at least 50 SPF (UVB) and PA+++ (UVA) ☀️🚫

3. start early ⏰ — we're all guilty of wanting those extra 15-30 mins to catch more Z's 😴 but if you can, it's always worth it because you get to ride with more fellow cyclists, avoid the sun, and be with less cars on the road! 🚲
