A remarkable performance by BJMP XII FC, headed by JCINSP CHARLES LOUIE N SELARIO, in the 2nd Inter-City/Municipality (LGU) Football Festival held on August 22–23, 2026 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Amas, Kidapawan City.

Competing against 15 teams across 4 brackets, BJMP XII FC topped their bracket and advanced to the Semi-Finals, where they secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory to book their place in the championship match.

In the Finals, BJMP XII FC battled to a 1–1 draw and ultimately fell short in the penalty shootout.

Personnel from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – Cordillera Administrative Region (BJMP-CAR) showcased their athleticism, teamwork, and determination after emerging as Champion in the Men’s Open Division of the Mangaldan 7-A-Side Football Tournament held at Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

Out of 12 participating teams from various provinces, six (6) BJMP-CAR personnel were part of the 12-man championship team of Trinidad Valley Futbol Club, demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

In recognition of their outstanding achievement, the personnel were awarded a Commendation by JCSUPT DELVIC L OREIRO, DSC, JD, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau.

Congratulations BJMP5 Reformers Football Team!

The Reformers Football Team of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Region 5 secured 1st Runner-Up during the DATARU's CUP held on November 29-30, 2025 at Sto. Domingo Central School, Sto. Domingo, Albay.

The Dataru Cup, organized by the Dominican Football Club, is a tribute to Artbeth Dataru, the football legend of Sto. Domingo.

There were 16 teams who competed.

Though they fell just short of the championship, the journey they took—filled with perseverance, skill, and determination, is indeed an achievement.

Tough fight vs. AFP’s powerhouse Philippine Navy — we held them to a 1–1 draw.

Campaign ends: 3 draws, 2 losses. But what matters most is heart, grit, and effort from everyone.

Thank God for His guidance, protection, and strength all throughout the tournament.

Tough match against the Philippine Army Football Team, ending in a 4–0 loss. Despite the result, we gave our best and showed our heart to fight until the final whistle. Every game is a lesson, and we’ll take this one as fuel to grow stronger. Time to focus, recover, and prepare for the next battle. On to the next game — together, we rise. 💪⚽
