As Chapter President, Engr. Grace Garcia-Rafael strongly supports the full, proper, and consistent implementation of RA 1378, with emphasis on the following:
• Only Registered Master Plumbers (RMPs) are legally authorized to design, sign, and seal plumbing plans, specifications, and related documents in Batangas
• Strict enforcement of the distinct and exclusive professional functions of Registered Master Plumbers
• Active coordination with LGUs, Offices of the Building Official (OBO), DPWH, water districts, and other regulatory agencies to ensure full compliance with the law
• Protection of public health, sanitation, and safety through lawful, competent, and accountable plumbing practice
• Defense of the professional rights, responsibilities, and accountability of Registered Master Plumbers
This commitment reinforces PSUMP’s role as a guardian of the Plumbing Law, ensuring that plumbing works in Batangas are carried out only by qualified, licensed, and legally authorized professionals.
As 𝗣𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮-𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗲𝗹 is committed to building a strong, technically competent, law-abiding, and professionally respected chapter that faithfully serves its members and the communities they support.
