All smiles after No-Gi Class! Another milestone achieved in training as we welcome Ate Brenna to her first few sparring rounds.

Our training schedule this week are as follows:

Tuesday 5:00PM: No-Gi Class at Misfit Strength Gym
Thursday 5:00 PM: Gi Class at Misfit Strength Gym
Saturday 7:30 PM: Gi Class at Uplift Fitness Gym

Beginners are more than welcome to join.

Vigo and Andoy, our youth athletes, earned their first Golds at Relenless: Kids Edition last Sunday at Antipolo! Teaming up with JR and Claire from Famas BJJ, representing Team Fabricio, we have earned a total of 3 Gold medals and 1 Bronze Medal.

Our medal haul led the team to finish 2nd Place overall, behind Canvas Jiu-Jitsu Studio's 4 Golds, 3 Silvers and 1 Bronze-- Not bad for an army of four.

A huge thank you to all of our coaches and teammates from Uplift Fitness Gym Famas BJJ and Misfit Strength Gym for helping our U12 contingent prepare for this event, to our ever supportive parents in the team, and to Relentless BJJ and Canvas Jiu-Jitsu Studio for organizing the event and being such gracious hosts. We look forward to participating in your future events.

Last Saturday was all about connecting Judo and Jiu-Jitsu--exploring differences in rulesets, and creating opportunities for attacks.

After a solid medal haul in competitions, Vicente Roque earns the 3rd stripe on his White belt. Congratulations, Vino!

Training yesterday was focused on fighting from the feet to the floor-- the ideal is to have every single teammate be comfortable with transitioning fighting from standing, to getting matches to the floor and vice versa.

We welcome back Bahi as well after months on the mats!

Coach Joshua Abella & Kyra flew to Singapore to compete at the Jagsport Invitation Championship x Singapore Grappling Open, and they are taking home:

🥇Juvenile Mixed Team (Jag Stars)

Kyra also won the Most Outstanding Athlete award for the second straight year.
