Wednesday means back to the mats and working on our misses and areas to improve on from last weekend's competition. The aim is to get better every day-- the medals are just a bonus.

Congratulations, Vigo and Andoy, on your performances in last weekend's Grappling Industries Manila! It was a long weekend with lots of matches. Lots of medals earned, but what was more valuable was the data we gather from our matches and the lessons learned.

A huge thank you to all of our teammates and coaches from Tenacious Tiger Fitness, Uplift Fitness Gym and Famas BJJ for helping these young men prepare for this event, and to all our ever supportive parents for the work they put in on the sidelines and helping our kids grow on and off the mats.

Our very own Coach Joshua Abella was selected to officiate at the 2026 JJIF World Ju-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi last week! This is his second JJIF/JJAU for the year.

Coach Josh is one of the few referees to hold a JJIF Continental Referee license, and is constantly sharing his knowledge of the rules in our team and in the National Youth Team.

We have officially started Jiu-Jitsu classes in Tenacious Tiger Fitness!

Trainings are held every Wednesdays and Fridays, 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Private Classes are also available upon request, and beginners and grapplers from other clubs are welcome to join. :)

Together with POWER BOUNZ Fitness and Famas BJJ, our team combined to represent Team Fabricio in last Sunday's Relentless: Kids Edition.

Andreas secures 2 Golds in 2 divisions, and was given a Sportsmanship Award.

Vigo secures a hard-earned Silver.

Coach Moe Baculanta, our Assistant Instructor, was awarded Coach of The Night.

A huge thank you to all of our teammates who helped us prepare for this event, Professor Stephen Kamphuis for the support, guidance and the privilege to represent the team, and congratulations to our two young guns and Team Fabricio's Army of Six!

Kyra Abella secures a Bronze in her second stint in the JJIF World Cup U14! It was a tough division full of taller and bigger AJP Youth World medalists and experienced competitors, but Kyra weathered the storm and imposed her game, winning 3 of 4 matches in the -40kg division.

Our team visited Coach Dino Bautista and Team Solar Jiu-Jitsu at Timecore Fitness Gym for an Open Mat session. Good, friendly, technical, safe rounds with great people. Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome!

Much love to our Junior Coach, Kyra Abella, on representing the 🇵🇭 in last week's JJAU Asian Youth Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She fought her heart out in two matches before bowing out.

Our Supervising Coach, Joshua Abella, was also selected to be part of the referee team for the same event. He joins Motion Jiu-Jitsu Head Instructor Aldo Vergel de Dios as the two Filipino referees for this continental event.
