Sir Nestor Madelar , our National ITF Taekwon-Do Team Head Coach, is a true pillar of Taekwon-Do in the Philippines.

With more than 30 years dedicated to Taekwon-Do, Sir Nestor has earned the respect and admiration of countless instructors and students across the country. His knowledge, experience, discipline, and passion for the art have made him one of the most respected coaches in the Philippine Taekwon-Do community.

He was the first coach and one of the first mentors of Sir Sundy Revidad and our ITF PILIPINAS NGB President, teaching them the fundamentals of how to kick, punch, move, and fight from scratch. His influence goes far beyond technique—he helped shape the foundation of the martial artists and leaders they have become today.

Bringing his coaching expertise to the international stage, Sir Nestor played a vital role in preparing and inspiring the ITF PILIPINAS National Team. His guidance, experience, and unwavering belief in our athletes gave the team an added boost of confidence and morale.

The challenges and struggles he faced during the team's preparation for the 11th Asian Taekwon-Do Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia were never easy. Yet he stood firm, continued to lead, and believed that our athletes could make their mark. That determination helped us achieve a Silver Medal on the international stage.

Sir Nestor, this is only the beginning. We will continue to learn from you, stand with you, and support you as we chase greater victories for the Philippines.
