In Philippians 2:3, we are called to "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." This mindset aligns perfectly with the spirit of sportsmanship—putting others first, showing kindness and respect, and lifting up those around us.

So, how can you apply this principle of sportsmanship in your everyday life? Whether at work, in your relationships, or in your community, challenge yourself to embody humility, selflessness, and respect in all you do, be a sportsman in the way you engage with others, making a difference not just through your actions, but through your heart.

Have you ever felt the sting of missing the mark in archery, when your arrow falls short of its target? It’s frustrating, isn’t it? But imagine that feeling multiplied when we realize that in life, we all miss the ultimate target—God’s perfect standard. The Bible tells us that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Just like that arrow, we aim for righteousness but constantly miss due to our sin. The good news, though, is that God didn’t leave us to our own failures. He sent Jesus Christ, the perfect sacrifice, to make a way for us to hit the mark. Through Him, our sins are forgiven, and we can be made right with God. Are you ready to stop missing the mark and accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ? The target is within reach—will you take aim?

☔️ As the typhoon continues to dissipate and exit the country's area of responsibility, we are proceeding with the event as planned. However, should the weather conditions change and signal No. 1 (Pasig) is issued, we will reschedule to November 2, and you will be notified accordingly.

Whether we aim for our goals on and off the range, let’s focus on our Source of strength, and sip from Cup of Faith 🏹 ☕️ ✨

Just as an archer focuses intently on the target, we too must fix our eyes on our goals with purpose and determination. Hebrews 12:1 reminds us to “run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” In archery, every shot requires practice, patience, and precision—qualities that mirror our spiritual journey.

Consider the coffee bean. It must go through a process of roasting, grinding, and brewing before it becomes the rich, aromatic drink we cherish. James 1:2-4 teaches us to find joy in trials, knowing they produce perseverance. Just as the coffee transforms through heat and pressure, so too do we grow stronger through our challenges.

In both archery and coffee-making, focus and refinement are key. Let us seek God as our guide, aiming for our targets with unwavering faith, and trusting that He is brewing something beautiful in our lives, even in the midst of struggle. As we draw back our bows and sip our coffee, may we remember to aim high and savor the journey.
