Pastor Mike Yap used the alphabet as a metaphor for man’s journey of life:
B: Born – Everyone has a birth date but…
D: Die – the time will come that we will all die
C: Christ – Within the time that we were born and the time that we will die lies the crucial opportunity to know Christ.
E: Eternal Life – For those who know Christ, the promise is eternity with God.
F: Fire– For those who do not know Christ, the Bible speaks of eternal separation from God, described as punishment, for those who fail to reach God’s standard, which is the holiness and righteousness of God.
Our destination is based upon our starting point- letter A
A: Admit – admit one’s need for Christ and accept Him into one’s life.
Accept Jesus and commit your lives to Him, for God’s love is unconditional and He desires a personal relationship with you.
Have you accepted Christ yet? If not, are you willing to accept him today? Let’s not delay our response to this gospel message. Today is the day of your salvation.
What is your relationship with Christ?
* Have you considered your eternal destiny?
* Are you ready to admit your need for Christ and accept Him?

Yesterday’s message reminded us that even when life feels overwhelming- like having gloomy days, when you’re tired, or meet unexpected stress—God calls us not to worry but to trust Him (Matthew 6:25–34). He knows exactly what we need, often beyond the material necessities. God gives us peace, patience, and trust.
A powerful mindset shift was shared by Sis. Maybelle. Instead of asking “When will this end?”, learn to ask “Lord, what do You want me to learn here?” Peace comes not from perfect circumstances, but from trusting God. Let’s trust Jesus and surrender our worries, and seek His purpose in whatever struggles we are going through.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed today, know that Jesus invites you to trust Him fully. And if your heart is ready to surrender, here’s a short prayer that you can make your own:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me.
I confess that I am a sinner and I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross to pay for all my sins. I now open my heart and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me, change me, and help me live a life that pleases You. From this day on, I surrender my life to You. Thank You for the gift of eternal life. In Your Name I pray. Amen.”
If you prayed this today, we praise God with you—it’s your spiritual birthday! Feel free to reach out! we’re here to walk with you and pray for you. Join us at our Saturday night service at 5pm later, and tomorrow with services at 9am, 12 noon, 3pm and 6pm.
Let’s continue trusting God and seeking Him first. See you next Friday! 0-0-2!

Huge thanks to Ptr. Mike for last Friday’s devotion. He opened with the importance of the spiritual alphabet A, B, C, D, E, F a simple illustration but a deeply meaningful reminder of life, death, and eternity.
We begin at *A*, the moment we accept that God is real and that He is inviting us to know Him.
Then comes *B*, where we are born and eventually die, with the small dash in between representing our entire earthly life.
Yet within that dash (-) lies *C* our greatest opportunity: to know Christ, to experience who He truly is, and to build a genuine relationship with Him.
One day we all reach *D*, where our earthly life ends, but the Bible makes it clear that eternity continues beyond that moment.
For those who place their faith in Jesus, God promises *E*, the gift of eternal life “God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son” (John 5:11).
But Scripture also warns us of *F*, the reality of eternal punishment and separation from God for those who reject Him (Revelation 21:8).
This is why the gospel is not just information but the very hope of humanity. Christ Jesus came not only to teach, but to fulfill the Law and to offer Himself willingly on the cross as full payment for all our sins - past, present, and future.
This truth is the heartbeat of our ministry. It’s the reason we gather, play, connect, and encourage one another here in CCF Pickleball + Jesus Ministry. More than the sport, more than the fun, more than the wins, we desire that every moment leads us closer to Christ and helps us understand His love and purpose for our lives.
And to everyone who joins us week after week, thank you. Thank you for showing up consistently, for bringing joy and energy, for inviting friends, and for making every session meaningful. We are grateful that you truly enjoy being part of this community, and we pray that each game and conversation brings you not only happiness on the court but also a deeper encounter with the Savior who loves you. See you again soon, family.

Ptr. Jim Whelchel shared about how our Almighty God has already provided us with the cure. In the wilderness, when the Israelites grumbled or complained to God, fiery serpents came among them. But when they cried out, God provided the cure—by simply looking at the bronze serpent lifted on a pole.
John 3:14–15
“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in Him.”
In the same way, when we sin, it’s like the serpent’s bite. But God has already given us the cure: Jesus. He said, “The Son of Man must be lifted up.” He was pointing to Himself.
All we need to do is lift our eyes to Him, believe, and trust in His promise of salvation. And this leads us to the most beautiful truth and most famous Bible verse of all:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Let’s remember: no matter what you’re going through—don’t stay grumbling, in guilt, or in fear. Look to Jesus. Trust in His forgiveness and healing. He will save you.
See you all on Friday!

Ptr. Mike Yap shared in our weekly devo that in pickleball, you win through hard work. But in life, you win when you join the team of Jesus….when you become partners with Him. He is pursuing us because He loves us.
All the world religions is man’s attempt to reach God. But it’s not man reaching up to God but it is God reaching down to us, picking us up from the dirt through the washing and renewal of the Holy Spirit.
It is by Mercy, not Works
“He saved us… not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.”
—Titus 3:4–7
No one is acceptable before God on their own. All of us fall, all of us sin, and all of us fail Him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)
And John 3:16 reminds us: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
When we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, God no longer sees our failures. He sees Christ in us. That’s the security of this ultimate partnership: Jesus never quits on us. One day, each of us will face the end of our earthly life. The question is—will Jesus look at us and say, “Welcome, my child. Come into eternity with Me”?
Is He your doubles partner in life?
