While walking by the seaside yesterday, beneath the gentle rain, I noticed a man who quietly held my attention. He was sitting alone on a beach chair, while the gentle rain wets him, no umbrella, no cap, he is facing the vast, endless sea..so still, so distant.

For a moment, it felt like the world had paused…like there was no war, no fear, no chaos in the Middle East..only the sound of the waves and the rhythm of the rain.

I found myself wondering what was in his heart as he gazed into the horizon. Was he carrying silent worries? Missing someone far away? Or simply hoping…

Hoping that one day, the noise of war would fade into nothing...that peace would return, and life would feel gentle again.

And somehow, in that quiet moment, it felt like we were all wishing the same thing... to live normally, to feel safe, and to be happy… just like before.

Thank you Kuwait for keeping us safe every day. Thank you God for waking us everyday alive and safe 🙏🙏🙏

Not every circle is worthy of your time and energy.

Some groups connect through encouragement, growth, and genuine support. Others connect through gossip, envy, and putting people down.

Notice what’s being said once someone walks away — that says more about a person’s character than anything else.

In toxic spaces, negativity becomes normal. When criticism and betrayal are constant, they slowly chip away at your peace and confidence.

Creating distance isn’t pride — it’s protection.

Your surroundings influence your thinking. Your circle affects your values. Your daily conversations shape how you see the world.

Stay close to those who motivate you to grow, celebrate your wins, and show respect even when others aren’t present.

True integrity means choosing not to join discussions that harm someone else.

You don’t need to belong everywhere.

Guard your character. Guard your peace. Guard your standards.

Because the people around you will eventually influence the person you become.

Who you surround yourself with matters more than most people realize. It’s easy to underestimate the impact of the people closest to us—but over time, their energy, habits, and mindset can start to shape our own.

If you’re around constant drama, jealousy, or negativity… it starts to wear on you, even if you don’t notice it right away. But when you’re around people who challenge you to be better—who cheer you on, set goals, keep their word, and support your growth—your standards naturally rise too.

You don’t have to cut everyone off or walk away from every relationship, but it’s worth asking:

• Do the people around me make me feel lighter or heavier?
• Do they fuel my growth or keep me playing small?
• Do they make me feel seen, supported, and respected?

Sometimes the biggest shift in our life doesn’t come from working harder… it can come from simply changing who we’re choosing to be around. Surround yourself with people who want more for themselves and for you. Because the right environment doesn’t just inspire you—it strengthens you.

Choose wisely. Your future self is watching. 💖

Dear Del Monte Philippines,

Today, you didn’t just make headlines...
you made hearts pause… and quietly whisper, “If only more companies were like this.”

I watched Sir Luis speak on Ms. Karen Davila’s vlog,
and in his words, I didn’t hear a CEO.... I heard a grateful man who never forgot the hands that planted the dream.

Free homes to rest in.
Free water to live by.
Free light to push back the darkness.
Healing through hospital care.
Education through a school for the children.
And a bridge to work through a simple shuttle ride.

These are not just benefits.
They are proof of love in action.

And when he said,
“If there are no farmers, there are no pineapples. And if there are no pineapples, there is no Del Monte,”
my heart understood something deeper:

Here, workers are not just manpower.
They are the roots.
The soil.
The very reason fruit grows sweet.

In a world that often forgets people for profit,
you chose people first.
You chose dignity.
You chose family.

No matter how powerful a brand becomes,
without a heart, it is empty.

But Del Monte Philippines....
you are not empty.
You are full of gratitude, of purpose,
of hope ripening under the same sun as your farmers.

And so today, I say this with pride:

I don’t just see a company.
I see a community.
A home.
A big, beating heart in the middle of our nation. 🍍💛

Thank you for reminding us what true success really looks like.

December 5,2025

According to a security source, a patrol in the Salmiya area became suspicious of a taxi. When the driver noticed the officers, he attempted to flee but was promptly stopped. Appearing nervous and confused, he was subjected to a precautionary search, which uncovered the methamphetamine hidden in a bag inside the vehicle.

The driver admitted to distributing drugs for money, using his taxi as a cover to evade suspicion and exploit the normal flow of taxi traffic in residential and commercial areas.
All seized narcotics were confiscated, and the suspect was transferred to the General Department for Drug Control for further investigation.

DTI SAYS FILIPINOS CAN PREPARE NOCHE BUENA FOR ONLY ₱500

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) believes that Filipinos can prepare a Noche Buena meal this year for just ₱500.

According to DTI Secretary Cristina Roque, this estimate came from their calculation of the minimum amount needed to put together a Noche Buena.

"Actually, with ₱500 you can already buy ham. You can make macaroni salad, and you can also make spaghetti. It also depends on how many people will be eating," Roque said.
