Take the road the bus doesn’t. 🏍️

Some of the best views in Palawan and Sagada are found between the usual stops. Quiet roads, mountain views, hidden corners, and places you can easily miss when you’re following a fixed route.

That’s the freedom of having your own bike. Stop when you want. Take the turn. Stay a little longer.

The road led me here. 🌊🏍️

That’s the fun of having your own bike in Palawan. You can pull over when you see a beach, take a random turn, grab a drink, or just keep riding because the view is too good to stop.

Our 250cc motorbikes are available in Puerto Princesa with unlimited kilometres, 2 helmets, side bags, a rear bag holder, and other riding essentials included.

Planning to explore Palawan your own way?

Missed your ferry in the Philippines? Don’t panic, but don’t assume your ticket is still valid either. ⛴️😬

If you arrived late or didn’t board:

🎫 Check your ticket conditions
📱 Contact the ferry operator ASAP
🔄 Ask if rebooking or revalidation is still possible
⏰ Don’t assume you can just take the next ferry

Rules vary between ferry companies, so your options depend on the operator and your ticket.

Also, if the ferry company cancels or delays your trip, that’s different. MARINA rules provide passenger rights for cancelled, delayed, or uncompleted voyages, including refund or revalidation in applicable cases.

Best tip? Don’t cut it too close at the port. Give yourself enough time for traffic, queues, check-in, and boarding.

Want to see a more everyday side of the Philippines? Stop at a sari-sari store. 🇵🇭

You’ll find them almost everywhere. Along the main road, tucked in a barangay, beside someone’s house, or in a spot you'd probably miss if you were in a hurry.

Grab a cold drink, some snacks, maybe a coffee, and take a minute to look around.

That’s one thing I like about travelling around Palawan by motorbike. You can take the smaller roads, stop whenever you want, and see more than just the usual tourist spots.

More roads. More stops. More Palawan.

I never really get tired of watching the Philippines disappear behind a ferry window. 🌅⛴️

There’s something different about travelling between islands by sea.

No airport rush. No staring at the same road for hours. Just open water, changing skies, passing islands, and that feeling that you’re heading somewhere new.

Sometimes the ferry ride is just transportation.

Other times, the journey becomes one of the memories.

If you’re planning to travel between Philippine islands, you can search routes and compare ferries, flights, buses, trains, and transfers through our 12Go booking page.

Coming to the Philippines? Don’t book everything just because you can.

It’s tempting to plan every hotel, ferry, tour, transfer, and activity before you even get on the plane.

But you don’t necessarily need to.

Some things are worth booking ahead, especially your international flight, first accommodation, important domestic flights, popular ferry routes, and activities that can sell out.

For the rest, leaving a little room in your itinerary can actually make travelling around the Philippines easier.

Maybe you want to stay an extra night. Maybe the weather changes your plans. Or maybe you simply like a place more than you expected.

Hindi kailangan lahat naka-plano.

The important part is knowing what you should book early, what can wait, and what you can arrange once you’re in the Philippines.

We put together a practical guide to help you figure it out before your trip.

Want to see more of Palawan than what’s on the tourist map? 🏍️

Take the small roads.

Some of my favourite moments riding around Palawan weren’t at the famous beaches or viewpoints. They were inside the barangays, passing small sari-sari stores, waving at locals, stopping for a drink, and seeing how people go about their everyday lives.

No tour schedule. No need to rush.

Just ride, look around, and stop whenever something catches your attention.

Which island are you heading to from Manila?

Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, Siargao... choosing the destination is the easy part.

Figuring out how to get there is where things get interesting. 😅

✈️ Flights for longer routes
⛴️ Ferries for certain destinations
🚌 Land transfers once you arrive
✈️ And in 2026, don’t forget to check whether your flight leaves from NAIA or Clark.

If you’re planning more than one island, your route matters too. A little planning can save you hours of unnecessary backtracking.

Manila → island → island → home.
That’s the idea. 🌴

I put together a guide covering Manila to Boracay, Palawan, Cebu, Bohol, Siargao, and other island destinations, plus flight vs ferry options and important 2026 airport changes.

I almost walked past this in Sagada. 👀🌿

A cup of coffee, a walk through the forest, mushrooms along the trail, and plenty of time to just look around.

Just one of those days where you take your time and notice the little things.

It’s not always about getting from one tourist spot to the next. Sometimes the best part is simply being there, walking around, having coffee, taking in the mountain air, and seeing what you come across.

Walang rush. Just enjoy the day.☕🍄🌲⛰️
