As we close another unforgettable chapter of Vcamp Summer Basketball Camp, our hearts are full of gratitude and pride.
To all our young hoopers, this is just the beginning. The skills you’ve learned, the discipline you’ve built, and the friendships you’ve formed will carry you far beyond the court. Remember, greatness is not built overnight, it’s earned through hard work, consistency, and heart.

Sa lahat ng kapwa ko coaches, isang paalala mula sa puso. huwag nating i-claim na tayo ang nagpalakas sa mga bata. Hindi tayo ang dahilan kung bakit sila gumaling, tumibay, at nagtagumpay. Ang totoo, sila mismo ang naghirap, nagsakripisyo, napagod, nasaktan, at bumangon sa bawat pagkatalo.
Sila ang unang pumasok sa training na may pangarap, at sila rin ang nagtiyaga araw-araw para maabot iyon. Ang lakas na nakikita natin sa kanila ay bunga ng sarili nilang disiplina, dedikasyon, at paniniwala sa sarili. Hindi natin pwedeng angkinin ang bunga ng pinaghirapan nila.
Tayo bilang coaches, hindi tayo ang bida sa kwento nila. Hindi tayo ang gumawa ng tagumpay nila. Ang papel natin ay maging gabay magturo, mag-correct, mag-motivate, at maniwala sa kanila kahit minsan hindi pa nila kayang maniwala sa sarili nila. Nandito tayo para i-guide sila, hindi para kunin ang kredito.
Ang tunay na coach, hindi naghahanap ng recognition, kundi fulfillment sa nakikitang paglago ng bawat batang hinahawakan niya. Mas mahalaga ang character na nabubuo kaysa sa papuri na natatanggap. At kung may dapat mang purihin, iyon ay ang puso at pagsusumikap ng mga bata na hindi sumuko.
Kaya sa huli, tandaan natin:
Hindi tayo ang nagpalakas sa kanila. tinulungan lang natin silang matuklasan ang lakas na matagal nang nasa kanila. 🏀👊
